My theory : ailens might have polluted themselves to much and died,thats what we are doing roght now

I hate this question, “where are they?”. It asks a question from the assumption that aliens don’t exist. It’s a mistake to assume that without exhausting every possible piece of evidence. The Fermi paradox, even the name sorta suggests aliens don’t exist. It puts it in black and white terms that ignores every possible ufo or alien evidence that has existed. The Fermi paradox is actually kind of insulting to those of us who have seen them up close and personal. But that’s just what I think. If you want to hear this sort of reductive based logic be my guest. Just remember. If possibilities are something they ignore the more they write in stone what they think they know for sure.

Simple: We live in the KBC VOID aka THE LOCAL HOLE as discovered recently by astronomers. The nearest possible civilization is 2 billion light years away. It would take 2 billion years for the civilization to reach us.

My theory is, because a lot of the objects we see in our universe are so far away from earth, we're seeing them thousands of years in the past because of how long it takes for light to travel from there to earth. So these objects/planets/galaxies in their present could have complex life as we speak, but because we're seeing old light emitted from these places thousands if not millions of years old, how would we know what they look like if we were to see them up close? An alien could be looking at our planet through a telescope from light-years away and see the early formation of our planet. Or maybe even see the dinosaurs, depending on how far away they are. And come to the conclusion that they're completely alone
I don't see this conclusion talked about for some reason. Is there a reason why not?

If the dinosaurs weren't wiped out by an asteroid impact would we be here right now….but if there weren't dinosaurs, would humans have developed earlier in geologic history and be at this point of galaxial colonization by now?

It is my belief that we are just here at the wrong time, so many things have to happen in a certain order then the luck, yes luck of avoiding extinction level events. Put all this together and the probability drops

Its not as simple as that.

My theory is that our existence is probably an experiment where nothing is to interfere with our evolution. So we'll never see aliens or our creators unless the experiment requires it.

when did the comment section starting hosting all these veteran space explorers that had checked off these big questions like 'Is there other life out there?' and 'Did every other civilization died before taking step one?' like damn.

Did we become a space faring civilization last weekend and i just didn't notice? I gotta lay off the late-night gaming.

There is no intelligent life other than us and that's not that strange at all. We are the strange part.

There are no civilizations in our galaxy that got past the global self-destruction phase experienced by all advanced intelligent beings. (The one we are on the precipice of right now.)

Where are the aliens at? Well if the US and Australia were originally countries other countries had sent their criminals and zealots to, then what if earth is that planet right? What if they sent their criminals and religious nutjobs here and that would explain why they don't come here to earth because they know the people here aren't about progression but about conservative religious followings.
