Even the Japanese people are ticked off at Ubisoft over Yasuke, many of them have claimed to be offended at the inaccuracies of their people's history regarding Yasuke.
I don't know how real or not he was or if him being a black samurai is accurate, but yeah, I think that's the main reason Ubisoft keep delaying the game.
I look back at the ps3 Xbox 360 era of Ubisoft fondly. Early ps4 was good as well. RB6 siege , The Division Even ghost recon wild lands was good. But they’ve lost me over the last several years. Farcry2&3. Even 5, Splintercell, RB6 Vegas. And a handful of AC games. Just really fond memories. Was really excited for AC Odyssey then some gay NPC hit on me really early in the game. That ended that. Made me feel dirty and weird. Like it would feel in real life but with no consequences for the perpetrator. Yeah that was my last Ubisoft experience. I quit before it could leave a bad taste in my mouth. No pun intended. Waiting for a FarCry worth playing and maybe Division 3 depending on the polish. But yeah they did it to themselves.

The problem with Ubisoft games is because of these stupid assassin creed games they are loosing theyre charm, Ubisoft had a good thing going with theyre watchdogs games but for SOME reason they decide to pull a Rockstar and milk the crap out of one game when they could be working on the games they actually got the best feedback from and that is theyre watchdogs series its basically GTA but with hacking where could you go wrong with that…?

When AC Unity works i think it was the peak of the series if u havent played it or have and and didnt like it maybe u should try again but any way to me it was peak assassins creed. And syndicate was good but the melee sucked. But im thinking about playing syndicate soon but ill enjoy the rest of this video first

I knew it was over for Ubisoft when they wacked Desmond. You could see what they wanted to day. Create a modern day version of AC as Desmond. But they chose to become a shitshow.

I never really got into Assassin's creed but I did get into Far Cry starting with two and also Watch Dogs. Of course watch dogs fell off the radar for me as I focused majorly on Far Cry.
I lost faith with the franchise however when 6 came out. The story now was told in 3rd person cutscenes, not even bothering to immerse you but instead making you feel you're just watching a cinematic movie(I like Anton Castillo dont get me wrong) and the story had various woke elements like all the leaders are women except for a select few, LGBT things, and fascism being thrown around every opportunity, thus when I found out the people writing 6 had tweeted similar sentiments and wanting to put it in their games.
I kept playing and it's clear I had more fun with the villain DLCs than playing the actual game. All of them were beautifully crafted as a love letter to the past games. Which is why I held onto hope that Ubisoft is still capable of making good things.
But after Skull and Bones, and Star Wars Outlaws released, I could tell they were unfinished and overpriced as hell. And when I found out a CEO of Ubisoft wanted us to get used to not owning our games, I was officially done with Ubisoft.
I tend to be very patient and it takes a lot to get me pissed. The previous stuff only annoys me. But when he said we should get comfortable with NOT OWNING OUR GAMES, I hope this company sinks.

Did you know Beyond good and Evil 2 is now the game with the longest time in development ever? I forget when exactly but that game broke the record previously held by Duke Nukem Forever and not a lot of people noticed. Supposedly it still is in development at Ubisoft but who knows what’s happening with it. I can only guess what kind of nightmare that game’s development has been like all these years.
