Gotham knights was fun at first but it got boring real quick, although the story was still good,,, but I was hoping for killer moth and the other villains that not been on the game yet but nope,,,, even though gameplay was amazing, but the leveling system makes the game a chore,,,, I say Gotham knights is decent at best, but nowhere near as good as the Arkham games even origins was better,,,, Deathstroke anyone ,,,, I say this is a game that people will play because it's new,,, but then stop and forget about it within a month or 2,,,,

I agree with many of your statements, you mentioned the same complaints other players have made. I am immensely disappointed the direction Gotham Knights has went, from the playing mechanics, the open world to the story that felt underwhelming in the final boss battle. The game is not worth 70 dollars in my opinion. I enjoy seeing the Bat family interact, but that had limits as well with glitches and what happened with Tim.

I didn't know there was going to be ranked enemies and RPG elements. That sucks. I'm sure it was well advertised and shown for a long time, but for some reason I didn't notice. Maybe its because most open worlds these days are incorporating it.
And this game's world looks like playdoh or clay. Its the way the lighting gleams off it. Doesn't look good at all.
How is it not the developers fault? they made this, and I am more than confident that this studio will NEVER get to make a game at this budget and scale again, whatever second game they have in development I bet will be moved to a different studio.

The first few hours for me were pretty rough. I also had fun but was annoyed with no traversal and had to unlock it. The combat is kinda hard to get used to when you play like Arkham and realize you have to learn a new system entirely. And once you get passed to hurdle of unlocking traversal, and getting more momentum moves, it gets better. I don’t like batgirls glide, the dive bomb mechanic just doesn’t feel right and it isn’t as fun as Arkham. I’ve pretty much grinded a few hours just to get to mission 2 of clay face, 3 of freeze, and 3 for Harley because I wanted to get traversal and better suits. The suits customization is good, but the transmog system is dumb where I can’t just customize the suit and have to deal with a basic black color. Once you really master the combat it can be a ton of fun. And even in coop it gets better. But I agree with the grind fest stuff its a bit much. And oh god those stupid drone things. Took me like an hour and a half to get all of them.
last schizo comment…. but its so depressing to look at the Arkham Knight dlc, were they had a variety of characters and play styles done exactly right, bat women in that is a MILLION TIMES BETTER THEN THIS SHIT. They literally could have just adapted exactly what was put in Arkham knight dlc into a large cohesive game with multiple single player story lines. They were standing on shoulders of giants, not to mention arkham origins was a solid game, but they wanted to reinvent the wheel, absolute morons. Super hero games should never be RPG driven, they should be narrative driven living comic books with tight well paced story lines. This shit feels like work not fun . Anyone defending this, is lying to themselves.
