Instead of the series S, Xbox should have done a Series M and did something similar to what valve did with the steam deck. Have all the components of a series S but make it into a mobile all digital form for mobile game pass on the go.
Not designed to be ergonomic as holding this so called steam deck puts strain on the users hands and fingers while using this clunky device.
24 – 30 fps at 720o on AAA games are enough.. no need upgrade for 10 yeara . it is de best

I love how like the complaint is it’s too big the regular switch was too small I don’t know man maybe I just have really big hands. I think my hands are pretty average, and from the bottom of the palm to the tip of my middle finger is 7 1/2 inches to me, it’s very comfortable I don’t get hand cramps, trying to hold tiny little consul in my hand. I really can’t complain about anything. Steam deck is pretty awesome.

Why the hell do you want to play graphically demanding games on a handheld? It's just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I've had the switch for a couple of years and I've never wanted to play graphically demanding games like RDR2, Metro Exodus, GTA V, Cyberpunk, etc etc. Those games are meant to be played in an immersive environment with a kickass GPU like the 3080ti.
When I play the Switch, I just want to relax and play chill games. The only reason why I preordered the Steam Deck a year ago is so I can play the old school adventure games on it. Nintendo doesnt carry most of those games, just Grim Fandango.
What is this a iPod? you going to mark it up hundreds of dollars for storage ? Wtf you gonna do with 64 GB of storage? Cyberpunk alone is 66 GB on my pc. That's also not factoring the os partition on the drive

Im not amazed by the 1gb video memory, My pc has 16 gigs videomemory, That is 15 gig less videomemory and normally we use 2-4-8 to run AAA games
The screen seems shitty and i would like to see 1080p portable with atleast 4-8 gig of videomemory, Would be nice to see atleast 144-240hz too, Imagine hooking up the thing to a pc monitor and seeing it 1280×800 60hz in competitive gaming, When you own a 1440p monitor, Well aint that the dream, Nah man Gimme a ps5 portable instead.

short answer is no, unless youre happy with sub 60 fps almost always and massive graphical downgrades. for that money just buy a gaming laptop, or better still a absolute beast pc 🙂
THIS THING IS GONNA FLOP, SUPER HARD. My biggest gripe is, I do not want to tinker with any settings for my game to run well, like in consoles, and switch, you just buy a game, put in the card or disc. and run it, fully optimized, at 30 or 60 fps, I REFUSE TO RUN FRAPS AND CHECK THE GAME AND FRAMERATE FOR OPTIMIZATION. Plus, this thing is too big, for a super long handheld of say, 3 to 4 hours, that I usually do on my switch. Plus this is an open platform, which means piracy, which in turn translates to fewer game sales, and far fewer game launches. MARK MY WORDS, THIS THING IS GONNA FAIL. Only a selected number of people have money to buy a $399 device for emulation.

i seriously doubt this could do what i would want. the chance it could handle cyberpunk or red dead 2 without dropping frames at 4k with ultra settings? smh let alone 120 at 4k. good luck.
Anybody thinking this thing will be able to play console quality games is in for a rude awakening. Everything sounds good on paper but this thing will suffer the same restrictions just like the switch. It is still a handheld and has to play by handheld rules. Why u think we haven't seen games running on the unit in its entirety? All I've been seeing is demos and reviewers which more than likely signed a disclosure not to say anything negative. It's a reason why the pushed it backed. Still, have no doubt in my mind it will no doubt do what it intends to do but not at the point where it'll make me throw my switch in the garbage bin. The fact thats its a copycat of the switch is one reason it'll be ignored. I did pre order the 700 dollar version model. though.

There are now 2TFlop FP32 GPU's in $500 smartphones and optimization behind Android is well known. Plus you get all the features of a smartphone. Even on one as old as a LG V60 or ROG Phone 5. Both have 6.8in OLEDs, 60Hz on the V60 but other than BT you got 3.5mm 2Vrms+ headphone jacks with an ESS SABRE qDAC to clean things up. With today's new EMUs a Snapdragon 865 and up SOC can run Switch games better than a Switch. Not counting native games.

I have just purchased Nintendo Switch and now planning on selling on to get Steam Deck (shame didn’t noticed it earlier). I would be all over the moon playing The Witcher while in the bed, as I do now on the Switch, barely use my PS5 (exclusives only), however The Witcher switch graphics ‘hurts’ my eyes. I might still keep Switch for Zelda 😅

They can't even fulfill demand in USA 😢 .
My region will be extremely lucky if available in xmas 2022, and will likely be far into 2023 before they become available. By then, the hardware will be not so impressive compared to other handheld PC coming out of china.
