I just recently saw this episode and in there it had a trivia question asking what type of dog was known as the nanny dog because Nanny's always had this type of dog around because they were excellent with children and yes that Nanny dog is the pitbull! Just like someone else in the comments said…. there's no such thing as bad dogs only bad owners ….what a shame that they have such a bad reputation.
My pup is so skinny when i got her. Shes a window pup in a pet shop. So most of the time, she wasnt able to eat coz people grab her ans move her around and check if shes a quality pet. She became skeleton in time, and when i saw her, immediately i told the petshop owner its her that i want.
Later on, i found out that shes a shelter pup. All of her siblings died out of starvation and malnutrition. Luckily weve been feeding her and gave her medicine a day after her arrival, coz she became sick. Now shes gaining weight. We name her pepper❤🐶

My mom’s dog was a blue pittie and golden retriever, but looked like a blue pittie with a golden built. She would whine for my to change the tv in her room. My mom said “She likes certain shows, ok!” But Sandy was the neighborhood watch dog. She saw a car she didn’t know and started barking. All the neighbors turned their porch lights on and the car sped off. They told my mom “Didn’t even know anyone was out there until I heard Sandy barking. She’s in the house but wasn’t happy about that car. That’s why we love Sandy.” My mom had a incident, where a man found out she lived alone, or so he thought. He came to her door and tried to get in the house. Sandy was in the kitchen heard my mom’s distress and casually walked out the back door. She walked to the front of the house and climbed the first two stairs, dude NEVER HEARD HER. Then she just growled. The man turned around and saw a unhappy blue pittie baring her teeth. He got the message, my said “Let him pass Sandy.” Is the only reason he left without being bitten. Me. Yea we had issues from day one, 😂. The first time I met Sandy, she literally was blocking me from entering the yard. She let my sister in NO PROBLEM, but I turn to the gate and it’s closed and she’s standing on it like a damn guard dog! I said “Really Dog, I was here before you. Now get down for I call my mom!” She wouldn’t budge, so I yelled “Momma! This stupid dog won’t move!” My mom had to pop her head out the window and say “Sandy, she’s ok she’s one of mines.” Like she understood, she looked at my mom then me and got off the fence. I was done with that dog!
Dangerous for young puppies to be out in public areas like a dog park until they have all their vaccinations. Too much risk of picking up a disease, such as parvo.

It's so refreshing to see Pit Bulls described and portrayed as FAMILY dogs rather than vicious killers society needs to freak out over at the mere sight of them. In reality, they're the biggest, sweetest, most loving hams that truly enjoy being close to their people (literally). Some part of them always needs to be against their person, and I think this is a natural inclination to protect as well as to be comforted by the nearness. Pit Bulls really enjoy massages and tummy rubs, they also love to sleep under the covers on the bed with you. Please remember, there are no bad dogs only bad owners. Any dog that is abused or neglected has the potential to become feral and scared of humans to the point of becoming defensive. Treat dogs well, teach them boundaries, manners, and give them a job to do and they'll be a little spot of heaven in your life.

All dogs need love and attention with fresh water and good food and a nice warm bed. THEN THEY LOOK AFTER YOU.💝👋
