Just a message to everyone saying buy an SSD. Watch the video again, I test it on an HDD and an SSD and it only works on an SSD. I have had a M.2 SSD since 2018. Whenever I review a game I ALWAYS install it on my HDD which is reasonably fast and if it does not run very well I then run it on an SSD. This is the first game I have had to run on SSD to get it running properly. My Space Marine II was running on a HDD and it was great, you don't need an SSD to run a game if it's optimised properly and that is an absolute fact as I prove it every single month when I review a AAA game.
You forgot about Starfield. That one I tried it personally and also a friend of mine can confirm. On an HDD it stutter. Moving it to SSD solved the issue for both. Just sayin… 🙂
I got the game a few days ago and I love it! I didn't even read anything about it or watch anything.. I just saw it on Steam and got it. Playing on 2080ti 3440×1440 medium settings, works well! Few crashes.
The first map I think called scorched earth use the graveyard insertion point and just follow the right and you can loot and make it out almost every time.
we need to play and give feedback , ideas etc for the future
I can’t believe hdd speed of read/write would be an issue…did you run any tests to prove it? What’s the problem? Loading time or player interaction?
he got the lore wrong, its asia/russia/ fighting americas and eroupe. the machines are asia and russia using a mix of cyborgs and modified humans. This is a indi dev and this game has only been in production for 1 year. for a 1 year game its good but devs said its not done and dont buy if your not ready to put up with bugs until further along in development. The blind troops the troops and unit it the game work on a priotize system. they ignored you because your low on the threat tree. This also works in your advantage because if there enemy units of the op faction near by they will go fight them and leave you alone.
Sooo an early access game is not ready? Im shocked.
garbage game
What broke my immersions are the clunky and ridiculous movements of the giant mechs. They look like toys.
For Christ sake are you just trying to get some build channel to give u a rig?
who the hell wouldn't be using an SSD these days! Like how can you seriously say that like you are dropping some unknown knowledge on us… a revelation that SSDs are best… Oh thanks captain bloody obvious. Let's see how the rest of this review goes.. maybe we'll all learn about how water is wet
I've done about 4 runs on this. It's really good until it's not. I very much agree with it being like the end game right at the start. I think it could be something when it's updated and done
"Me playing on max graphics + view distance on a 2070 playing just fine" 🫤
Do not judge a game by the potential, judge it by what you get
History has shown games like this explode in disaster or fade away, I pray this is different
Is the game open world? I’m very intrigued by the game and what it showed the 2 warring factions that gain and lose territory it would be nice to eventually be able to become the super cool powerful ppl tho..
I bought this on day one after being hyped about it since it was mentioned on youtube. I refunded it within 30 minutes.
In my short time playing, I had enemies spawning out of thin air, mostly prompted by my presence, either that or the draw distance is about the equivalent of 20 metres in game. Despite me "not being that guy" the AI sure treated me like I was, often ignoring their objectives and running straight to my position despite my character being an old man dressed in rags, crouched down doing nothing, minding my own business. I think the game would be better served with the AI spawning into the map before the player and doing their thing, then you are spawned nearby and have to navigate through it. Any AI reinforcements should be carried in by transports or enter the map via the edges, not just pop in right near you in a game where your spacial awareness is so important.
The game has huge potential and I'm all for it. I'm torn, however. I believe in the game and want to support the developers but I've been burned so many times by EA abandonware/vapourware or having to wait 5 years for a game that was initially promised within a year.
So far ive been ablw to run it on a 1660 super, not aure about other specs, on low graphics. As far as not being able to shoot, maybe solo is different but as long as i shoot, loot, and run before too many enemies show up it seems fine. As long as tou have better than starting guns you can pretty consistency kill small patrols and the less armored drones with an ak clip or two. Main issue ive had is enemies get stuck on shit alot. Like almost every enemy so far that wasnt a human
More than terminator, this has a strong AniMatrix feeling to it.
I got the impression from the warm colors of the war, the orange filter.
Terminator has a blue filter to it.
Concept is amazing.. Execution is pretty shitting rough.. Even for EA..
Really cool conceptually. I just can't do multiplayer out here in the sticks, so I won't be getting it. Kind of gives me FPS Kenshi-With-Guns vibes.
Ah I don't know… this is nothing like Citizen Kabuto fun game play. This looks like what we will be in the future homeless rats praying the machines will not care about us.
That drone quest is brutal. I’ve noticed that I’ll be close to a wrecked one and someone will kill another somewhere else and despawn the loot I put a lot of effort into getting to.
Despite the bugs, though, I think it will blossom into something amazing.
What's the song playing in the background?
Bought it today.. This game is beautifully and terrible at the same time. The scenery is the stuff of nightmares and yet there is such a beauty in how this world seems so alive… and deadly. If the devs keep their passion and create a fan base this is going to be a masterpiece of creativity on 1.0. Right now it is more than enough for an early access.
I think this is my new favorite title, in spite of itself.
Bad news, the devs hired a woke twitter artist as a moderator and he is abusing people who complain about the regressive left.
The game needs to be boycotted, and people need to refund if possible.
Just played it 3070 on medium 60 frames pretty smooth but still a lil janky. So it needs a lot of tlc
I sure hope they dont have that overpowered MBSS and big scary armor man in this game…
thx again Mack! you just saved me $35 AGAIN… If they implement 1st person i night consider it.
3060 a 5600x game runs fine .. seems you spend more and you cant play games lol
the only issues i find with the game, released too early even for Early access, released early for feedback where its gonna get the same treatment as other games where only the super hardcore players give real input and the game gets obliterated unless you're a full on sweat. combat currently is part of the main loop when it shouldn't be.
If the game needs an ssd having top of the line hardware won't fix it as you said. The issue is these games dynamically load instead of having loading screens (or should) so a faster gpu or cpu won't fix that. You are limited by the ssd's ability to feed the cpu/gpu.
Is this a rant about an alpha that’s in early access? Really?
Besides all the stuff you said. I felt the loot was worthless most of the time. You can bunny hop past enemy AI because they are so stupid. The extraction is always the same on the map. So the games replay-ability is 100% the AI which sucks dog shit. They shot them selves in the foot with the "we know the player" dialog in their release video with the water mechanic.
