I started seeing posted together short videos of this cat and others. I was glad to find out the real story. This big cat loves where he is, and definitely should be there. Beautiful situation.
You know, these people are doing their level best with what they have, and I think that way too often we don't give credit for that. My only beef with animal rescues and animal rights activists is that they tend to think that their method of animal husbandry is the only correct and allowable one. I've seen people fly off the handle because someone is feeding their dog the "wrong" brand of dog food, for example.
Even if everyone had the money to give their pet the "ideal" life, no one can even agree on what exactly that is, beyond some generally accepted minimums. And most of us aren't independently wealthy. Does that mean only the ultra-wealthy should have pets, because a middle-class person or, dare I posit, a working-class person can't afford three hip replacements and stem cell therapy for an aging pet?
This is a most beautiful connection between a Puma and his people. There are cases of big wild cats attackjng thebowners, but in most situations, they didnt have the animal.from.birth, have to nurse it back to health, and are usually not "included" in everyday household life… Aling with being trained. I would say that there is nothing to worry about with this large cat!

oh, forget the activists! Messi is HAPPY, loved and loves back! he's part of a family filled with love! Looking at him cuddling on the couch, I see a big HAPPY baby! Don't go homewrecking because "you don't approve" end of video… "An animal's love is unconditional" I'd trust Messi before most humans!
Also, Messi is clearly a very, very happy animal!! They did the right thing and have done right by Messi.
