I bought a Steam Deck OLED for playing EA FC 25 and other small or old AAA games. The price of the Steam Deck 1tb OLED was 700$ a week ago from UAE 🇦🇪 with the extra budget of 50$ bringing it back to my country with the included carrying cost. After 1 week of use, I am disappointed. Sold it to someone with 660$. EA FC 25 is not a high graphical or performance game. It doesn’t run on steam os & ℹ dual boot it into Windows and the game lags. Some older and a few recent AAA games run somehow on the Steam deck. I had Nintendo Switch oled, Rog Ally, not the X which was stolen after 10 days of use 😢On that All FIFA & other games run super smoothly and I had the feeling that Future 3/4 EA FC Title will very well playable on the Ally. I don’t understand why people show more interest in Steam Deck. For playing many games on steam deck you have to do tweaks. Then what’s the point of telling plug 🔌 & play if the games don’t run well and every time had to pray 🙏 & hope to almighty please run the games 😅like ps2 era? The only plus point was a better battery life than the other recent handhelds. If the condition is as such then people should buy Switch Oled instead of Steam deck cause it has 6 times better battery life and every game that are Nintendo entitled to will run with standard smoothness and 300$ less price with no pain of prayer & hope to almighty if the game will run or not like ps2 era 😂
Feed up with the Steam deck at a high price. Even recent Chinese Retro gaming devices like Anbernic, Brick, etc will not give you the pain of game-crashing feelings.
Now I am going to buy Ally X to run every game smoothly most importantly EA SPORTS FC Ultimate team. I had PlayStation 2/3/4 Xbox series S, Game Boy Advance, switch, and Sega gaming laptops but never had a bad feeling by using Steam Deck oled in my 20 years plus of entire gaming life.
i still like and use the original steam deck, so far there has been no reason to upgrade
As the owner of both an OLED Steam Deck and an Ally X, EmuDeck is almost identical to setup/run on both systems, and isn't a point for the SD.
I just got one last week, and I completely stopped playing my ps5
if you have a powerful pc you can simply stream your games to the OLED. So basically its pointless to buy a rog ally in this case.
Bruh i ordered an lcd 256 gb like last saturday and a storm came and delayed it still waiting smh
I love my oled I just wish I had more time to use it 😢
I own steamdeck and ROG ally. They both have their good points. But my LCD steamdeck will be my new favourite when I drop in an OLED screen.I have a PC as well 4080 Super but still bought a Rog Ally.
I just bought a 1080P OLED for my LCD called decksight . It ships in may. Way better than the real OLED. Apparently will work at 80 or 90 hertz as well.
Steam Deck is perfect if you already have a powerful PC. So I realte to what you said I have all consoles and a PC so we good tbh. BROOO I'M PLAYING FO3 ON THE GOOOO!!!! MY INNER CHILD IS JOYFUL!!! God bless you bro and great video!
The battery is amazing compared to the ROG Ally and the Lenovo Legion Go, you’ll get about 50 minutes of high end gameplay on the Legion Go which is utter trash and why I returned mine, I think im gonna get a steam deck OLED because what good is better performance if you can only play for 40 minutes at a time, I can work out for longer than that lol I also like what you said about emulation, I want to get into the older Zelda and Metroid games so the Steam Deck with the beautiful screen and great battery life seems like a nice pick for me
Same place in regards to what I wanted in a handheld system. Gaming rig and consoles out the arse too.😅 This gen of consoles is my last for several reasons. No reason to hand these companies my hard earned cash for proprietary hardware when their games will be out on PC or on a streaming service. Subscribed.
The only reason i’m considering the ally over the steam deck oled because the ally lets you download games that you buy off xbox. And I use gamepass pretty often. You can also use cloud on steam deck to play gamepass but i won’t always have the internet connection for that.
“For what they put down I want to pick up” hahahaha 😂
🙂
Stay up bro, welcome to the club👍
The Steam deck has been described as the backlog killer. I’m a console gamer with no time to play my console and I’ve played so many games I’ve never heard of which don’t appear on the PlayStation or Switch.
RTS's are crazy good on the steamdeck command and conquer remastered 🎉🎉🎉
As someone who owns a steam deck and a legion go while they might be both handhelds one is a gaming laptop replacement and the other is a dedicated gaming hand-held.
With windows and steamOS they both compliment each other so well.
got both Ally X and OLED deck. Both for two reasons.
Ally X- for online gaming on the go. no restrictions, anti-cheats and all that b.s just gaming to your hearts content. dualbooting bazzite is the creame de la creame. cause I dislike windows.
OLED- for AAA solo gaming & emulation on the go. better ergonomics and it just works!
Rog Ally X maybe the best, but OLED will always be my favorite
To be honest the steam deck has the best os and best battery
I have a pc with a 4090. The steam deck is pretty incredible. If I'm gonna play a serious fps or something then yeah I'm gonna play on pc for sure but the steam deck is perfect for indy games and is just really really well rounded
How is a 90hrz 800p screen good in 2025
Hey buddy, look into adjusting TDP on your steam deck to save on battery. It'll really save you a ton of battery. Basically you can drop how much power the system is taking for each game. You watch your frame rate and drop your TDP and once you start to see the frame rate drop add a watt or 2 to be safe and you can sometimes double your battery life. Also you can set your screen refresh rate lock it to 40-45 on games that aren't always hitting 60 and you'll have a better experience and battery. Even playing a game that doesnt need a fast frame rate say a chess game where the screen is mostly the same you can drop the refresh rate down to 15 fps and save even more battery. Most games you can set to low settings and not really notice a difference on the small screen. Then with your emulation make a retroachievements login. It adds achievements to all the old games. They're really creative achievements too not the basic ones we get on steam, playstation, and xbox. They're created by other users and are constantly adding more games; achievements go all the way up to gamecube and below. Enjoy your OLED I've had my LCD for over 2 years now and I still play it everyday.
Yo, try streaming from your PC to Steam Deck, I be chilling in bed on my SD, playing triple A games in 2k resolution, 60fps lol. Look up moonlight/sunshine.
My SDOled is my Backlog Blasta!
My 512 oled SD is supposed to arrive today, can't wait
