i wish when i brush my cats they wouldn't yell at me, idk how to easily make sure i get all the deep fur and hownto kessen matts (he and my flulliest rabbit gets them) i also wish there was a easier way of giving the 3 cats a bath, i feel they do need one maybe every other month or so, and its weird we started babysitting this one cat, she came to us and she had tumors because shes old and her back was full od scabs, the owner said she thinks it was because a accident she once had and shes just been like that since (shebwas also a indoor/outdoor with them) she gets here, her fur gets like constantly damp so we tske her to the vet the vet tells us get opega 3 pills snd a cone, sinxe then we stopped using the cone because she jept popping them and she stopped licking her fur as much, the scabs went away slowly, her fur glt fluffier and longer and now feels clumped in skme areas its odd it was like that before a little too and now shes getting matted and i think her fur is oily but we stopped the omega 3 because her owner needs to pay me back, we were supposed to wster her and their dog for 4 months…its been a year…
I'm 72, and my big boy Joey grabs onto the brush with both paws and hangs on to the brush. It's difficult to get it away from him because he is so strong. I bought some Hemp calming support. I hope this helps!
most important thing for me is being able to inspect my cat, all of her, buttt hole to paws, tail to face. I never made a big deal of brushing her. it's just a thing we do, but she did get all excited last time. No not in heat.
I use my hair comb
My poor kitty is a himalayan persian with tons of fur. He literally freaks out just when brushes are out. I try to reward with treats, it's the one and only time retreats mean nothing to him. He's getting tons of mats before I can get him to the groomers. I feel awful because he probably was traumatized previously but I can't even get near him with it. Different brushes, combs, brush gloves, doesn't matter. I will however try the stress stopper and go very very slow. I really hope we can get there! Thanks!
Good advice
I wish I had time for the jokes!!!
That really helped,,, thank you❤❤❤❤🎉
I have two cats. Serenity is a little easier. I just let her lick my hands while I brush her. It's annoying, but I guess I have to compromise. Miko is challenging. He's a biter and a scratcher. Brushing him is a task I avoid. His back is pretty and shinny but his stomach looks like an old rug. He will NOT let me near it. Help
I have a 11 year old domestic semi-long hair, tortie, she will brush herself. She would keepherself, indeed does it alitle bit too much if not regulary brushed.
Does this work for nail trimming too my cat won’t let my cut them I have to take her to the vet but once a month and she hates her cat carrier is quite stressful of her
Thanks for this. My cat is constantly walking in circles and doing her "patrols" as I call the. She loves to walk, and walk, and walk some more around the house rubbing everything.
My cat is a short haired black cat and she always gets a mat on her back above he hips. The last time the vet just shaved it off, but as you know cats a weary at the vets so she just sat there and it was easy. I have now bought a cat shaver but I really don't know the best way to shave it off, without her killing me lol. Any advice on the best way to shave her would be really helpful,
Boy are you in rare form in this podcast. 😻😻😻
Help!!! Any tips?
My cam 5M is becoming increasingly difficult with age. The first minute is full of purring, tail hooked in the air, rubbing against my legs, the brush and rolling on the ground. Quickly this turns into super puffy tail, moving around too much for me to brush him, tail sweating and sometimes light biting. I back off but it feels like I never get enough time to actually take out any shed. In recent years I’ve moved our brushing to the bath tub which has calmed him a little and he now will only let me brush him in the bathroom.
I needed this advice! Thank you!
My cat has short hair how do i brush it, there isn't any hair coming out.

Hiw do I stop from getting her hair everywhere especially on clothes
As someone who just got a cat and has never had experience taking care of them, this channel is an absolute godsend.
My cat hates brushing, it is such a mission. I need to give them treat all the session, 2 people involve and as soon as the treat or food is over he runs away.
He gets noods and I need to cat his hair constantly. Help please😢
My cat likes Temptations more than cat food. 🐈 why

Lula Bella has so much hair. Can I use water
My cat is super aggressive whenever I brush her. At some point I just have to hold her and brush her anyway… I give her treats and all 🙁
What about the newer steam brushes? I’m hesitant about them, but my husband likes the idea. One of my cats has really long hair and is very hard to brush no matter what type of brush I use. He has a heavy undercoat and some of that needs removal. He also gets poop stuck to his long hair and hates having it cleaned off. The vet recommended trimming the long hair by his tail and butt, which I am going to do. Any advice for removing the loose hair in his undercoat?
Due to a friend's family situation, I am cat sitting. I was unprepared for some of it. This helped thank you.
The "Furminator" brush is the ultimate, I call it the "Tongue of God" because that's how my cats act when I break it out lol.
