I had to relearn to love dogs and not fear them after I was attacked by one at age 12.
It was traumatic . It ripped open a gash to the bone 🍖 in my ankle. I was screaming ,felt unbelievable pain ;looking down at this teared opened wide gash pouring blood. Like a sliced hacked raw steak 🥩 🩸🍖 in complete shock. My best friends mother ran to my rescue like never before.

My dog has problems with resource guarding, only at our home mostly. He already attacked me twice within 3 years, I already know when he is going to attack, but I still not able to make him respect me and not attack because of the resource guarding. I owned a pitt bull , and Shepard that passed away from old age(one 19 one 20 years old) one had arthritis, one came to me at 3 and had been abused. Never turned on me. Have a 10 year old dogo argentino and 4 year old great pyrenese. Never turned on me. EVER. I've owned" hard to deal with" breeds , and breeds that seem aggressive. Training has everything to do with it. Never let a dog escalate. If they know I'm in charge they follow me. I NEVER let them go out the door excited EVER. When they are old watch for pain cues. Alot of people don't spend enough time training, socializing, and don't watch for signs.
My dog atttact this woman he don't like her dog .but she wasn't not with the dog she walk pass the park I was in and ran out of the park up the street I said stop to my dog and he stop she might of been bites or fell ambulance came I stayed with her and waited gave my info the health depth called me and put him on house montering😊
I have never met a “bad dog.” Period. I should have been an animal control officer. Sure naughty and door darters😂. We have been friends forever.
My 13yo chihuahua is excellent, he has never bitten anyone to hurt them, he's fearful but not reactive, and just genuinely doesn't want to hurt anyone. But one day his leg got stuck somewhere and when i got too close to him he panicked and bit my eye 😭 it was entirely my own fault, pain makes us all crazy. I'm fine, he's fine, but were he a bigger dog i might not have my eye. So be aware of your dog's physical state, learn to read the room!

yoo seriously can anyone help?? my toy poodle has bitten me many times super aggressively and the reason is that i was trying to take away the food in her mouth cause my family members accidentally dropped some human food on the floor.. i want her to be healthy so i tried not to let her eat what’s not good for her and that’s why i tried to take them away whenever that happened. now when food is in her mouth and my hand gets close she will get extremely aggressive and bite. this really makes me so sad cause i love her (she is 1.5yr old now) so much but she just tried to hurt me. and it’s also very concerning cause what if one day she took chocolate? i looked up different training method on the internet and they all said teach her “drop it” and “leave it” command. however no matter how many times i tried to train her the “drop it” command it just failed. she can do “leave it” most of the time but only when the food isn’t in her mouth yet. please help😢

My 7-year old spitz mix would sometimes get a look on her face while I’m petting her. It may or may not be followed by a low growl. If I don’t stop petting her, she will snap at my hand and she drew blood the first time it happened (no warning growl). This behaviour began about 5 years ago and I have not identified why.
Now I always pay attention to her body language and keep up a constant chatter when I touch her, and I’m mindful of my own energy.
My male Rottweiler bit me when I was trying to remove a tick and drew blood. Every one said he turned on you. My comment was I have seen him crush a cow femur chew bone in his jaws. If he wanted to bit me he could have. He was telling me something.
