New discovery suggests that our universe may exist inside a black hole

Is our entire universe situated within a black hole that is itself part of a larger parent universe ?

Scientists analyzing data from the James Webb Space Telescope have discovered something that nobody had expected – that the majority of early galaxies in the cosmos rotate in the same direction.

In fact it turns out that around two-thirds of galaxies spin clockwise and the rest spin counter-clockwise – suggesting an overarching preferred direction for galactic rotation (as oppose to a 50/50 split).

“It is still not clear what causes this to happen, but there are two primary possible explanations,” said study leader Lior Shamir – an associate professor of computer science at the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering.

“One explanation is that the universe was born rotating. That explanation agrees with theories such as black hole cosmology, which postulates that the entire universe is the interior of a black hole.”

“But if the universe was indeed born rotating, it means that the existing theories about the cosmos are incomplete.”

The idea that the universe actually exists inside a black hole (known as ‘Schwarzschild cosmology’), is not a new one, but the recent findings represent some of the most compelling evidence yet that this might actually be a very real possibility.

In fact, if we really do exist inside a black hole, it means that the black hole in question may exist in another, larger parent universe.

It also suggests that every black hole that exists in our own universe may contain additional pocket universes.

There could even be an infinite number of such universes embedded within one another.

As things stand, however, scientists cannot tell for sure whether or not this is actually the case.
