Well they’ve already made it clear the game is all about girlbosses. It feels like they just try to make games for lesbian/feminist gamers now. That’s going to immediately annoy a lot of people. It annoys the type of people that would buy a space shooting/fighting game. I’ll be buying it though, I like ND games too much, I’m not ready to quit on them yet.

I'll never understand the hate for TLOU 2. I was also devastated with Joel's demise, but the game is a masterpiece, in my opinion. I've played parts 1 and 2 at least 10 times each and have yet to get sick of them. People really just want to complain, huh? The game hasn't even come out yet, how about we wait and see?

I'm blind, TLOU was made accessible for people like myself and tonnes of other disabilities, I really hope the same is true for this game.
I don't want it to be to handholdy but it needs to be accessible so they're going to have to see how far over that line of hand holding and guiding the player because they can't see/do a thing they're willing to go.
TLOU would tell you, for example, if a puzzle might not be doable for all type of epeople, or something like that, I wonder if they'll use that here too.

Honestly, this concept sounds amazing. Naughty dog gameplay is pretty high quality. I think people should keep an open mind. People assume it's going to be bad, but this studios quality is the top 3 in the industry. I like that games are challenging players. I would rather feel something, anger or happiness, in a game. Instead of nothing playing a ubisoft game.
If this game isn’t coming out late next year they shouldn’t have announced it last year. Games are getting announced WAY too early.
I can respect the balls go double down on something they think might piss off their audience. The thing is though is that Naughty Dog, if they keep doing this, might soon find themselves with a very small audience and could lose their crown as Sony’s top studio.

It's funny that this conversation happens, we always complain that in the AAA space risks are not taken, I applaud that they take these risks, and say what you want about TLOU 2, but the game sold more than 10 million and this figure is more than 2 years ago and the user rating on the PlayStation Store is quite high, everything seems more drama on the internet. Just like with MGS 2, over time TLOU 2 will be revalued in a much more positive way.
My worry with Naughty Dog is the same i have with GTA, the original gaurd who made the great games are gone and replaced by what definitely appears to be not as qualified staff. I miss being excited for these companies, but theyve burned too many bridges to have the benefit of the doubt at this point. But damn would love to be wrong

Art should offend and push boundaries. The only problem is that it's been pushing in one direction largely so far in recent years. But ideally all artists can fully fulfill their visions with their art, regardless of whether I like it or not. The biggest problem in gaming is how you have milk toast lowest common denominator inoffensive bullshit that's pushed out by the industry.
