I agree, everything is forgivable BUT the lack of a multiplayer feature. This game mode would me 10000% more fun + time consuming if you could play with just one other person. It sucks that ND is regurgitating old content rather than creating at least something new for fans (me).. awesome review i agree it shouldve been free, PS pulled thru with the $10 pass
I feel like $10 is a fair asking price for what we get. For me it was worth it just for the documentary and the commentary track. Plus all the other little extras. This is one of my all time favorite games. Spider-Man was $20 to upgrade. So was Death Stranding and FFVII Remake. So this feels like a good deal by comparison.
$10 upgrade for no return was perfectly reasonable. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. But don’t complain that for-profit corporations aren’t giving products away for free

Yeah the stuff that they added was pretty minor. It’s ridiculous to me that they decided to remaster the game with arguably the greatest visuals of all time. At the same time though even getting a decent fast food meal can run you more than this remaster costs, so I’m not mad.
Valhalla blows EVERY dlc out of the water. Comparing any paid dlc or whatever you wanna call this “remaster” to Valhalla isn’t fair. It’s in its own league.

You compared the ps4 port in 60fps 1440p to the ps5 port at 1440p/60 in the performance mode instead of the native 4k Fidelity mode. That was a cheap comparison and I should stop watching there on principle alone. If you're going to do this, do it right. The fidelity mode on the PS5 port can be played at native 4K at either a locked 30FPS or 40-60FPS in a 120hz container with VRR on the right display. The performance mode can be played at native 1440p/80-120FPS in unlocked framerate mode with vrr, again, on the correct display. This is not possible in any fashion on the PS4 version even when played on PS5.
No, it should not have been free. People still worked on it. Also, no one is forcing anyone to buy this. They put it out. Buy it or not. But don't keep talking about it being free. That is just ridiculous.
