There's a chest near the end of the korok trial where you can get another korok shield. Don't know if anyone know this but I hope it helps.

Good news. You can also find both a Forest Dwellers Spear and Shield right next to one of the Great Deku Tree’s roots. Just go to the Korok Forest and select either the Forest Dwellers Shield or Spear photos in your Hyrule Compendium. And I recommend tracking the Spear instead of the shield just so you don’t get confused with the one at the trial mini game.
I thought chests actually respawn after like several blood moons, because I remember opening 3 wooden chests in the water near Floria bridge, and didn't go back to that region in a very long time, and when I finally did, they were there again.
Regardless, if I find a good weapon in a chest, but don't have space in my inventory, and I still want that weapon to be around, I just leave it in the chest and stamp the location on my map, the chest doesn't despawn as long as the item is still in it, even in shrines.
I want my royal bow back I dont want these forest dweller can you reply plz Mr youtuber
Kinda sucks that the sword is the only one not respawnable. Though I still have a tendency not to use powerful weapons with certain abilities.

Theory: You know how in breath of the wild, the rito and zora seemingly coexist at the same time? Well, what if that's the same for the Koroks and the Kokiri? What if the kokiri are still around, wandering the wilderness? What if the Koroks made the forest dweller's gear for the Kokiri, who closely resemble hylian children? Or maybe the Koroks themselves didn't actually make the gear, since they don't have thumbs, but the Kokiri themselves? I wouldn't be surprised if over time, it was believed that the koroks made the gear for hylians, when in reality, they made it for the Kokiri, or the Kokiri made it themselves. Who knows, maybe our eternal childhood friends from Ocarina of Time are still out there somewhere, wandering the wide world…

The forest dweller weapons are the best in their attack stats, but the durability is just HORRIBLE

I'm not sure if chest drops are random but I found a fourth forest dweller sword in the Shora Hah Shrine
cant find the treasure for the sword anymore….apparently I got it a long time ago and it broke or I threw it away….but now what? Any place to find it lying around???? That it may spawn at? Or are they only in treasure chests???

One of these videos claimed that there are only 4 of each item for forest dweller equipment and that it doesn't respawn, i am here to say that the items found in chests may not respawn but the forest dweller stuff found lying around however in fact DOES respawn.
