just a thought: I see the comparison pictures and I see the differences of course. but I ´m perfectly all right with that. I play games for the adventure, storytelling, atmosphere. not for graphics. I grew up on 8bit pixel games and I had time of my life with them! now I have 4 kids and we have nintendo switch and yes we are going to play this game a lot! because it is fun and there is no need to buy a new powerful console because of that. So I guess I am a target group for these kind of “downgraded remakes” you are complaining about and I honestly don ´t really think it hurts the game industry. People like me do exist I believe and they are relevant for the game producers with big titles like this. So – just to answer your “why do they keep doing it?” question. thanks for the review!
