i had pups who were nto weened yet, when i got them from the dog pound. they sucked my earlobe, and cried for their mother, who was being put down for biting someone. i got the last two pups, and yes, they were pitties. i bought a baby bottle, you couldnt get them walmart yet, and i let them drink from that a few times a day. it cut the crying down a bit, and helped them to settle, until they just didnt want it anymore on thier own. now they have the tiny baby bottles at Walmart, so if you are faced with a wee one wanting to suckle again, there you go. bTW, i put water in the bottle, so it wasnt a milk dependency thing, it just was a missing the mama sort of thing.

Mason reminds me a little of my cat Theo by the sound of his cute responses. I just had to say good-bye to my fourth Guide Dog, a Yellow Lab named Zahara. I really miss her, and I'm still trying to get a new Guide, but my application was turned down, because I'm unable to work. What type of dog is Buddy? (I've had 2 Yellow Labs and 2 Black Labs, and they all loved my cats, and my cats loved them, too.)

We used to have a female St Bernard who would steal our cat's litter every time she went outside, and it was so funny watching the mother try to get them back! The first time it happened it scared the hell out of me because I thought the dog was eating them… one tiny kitten in that giant maw just disappears, but she was sooo gentle. What would we do without our animal companions!
