I think people are generally opposed to Naughty Dog because they are perceived as being overly "woke". The trailer feels a bit woke. Balled, modern black girl as the main character doesnt sit well with folks in general. Everything you mentioned is true but I felt this point is also important. It links to your discussion around people's distaste for Druckman, which is effectively a mirror to their distaste for "woke". I don't personally care too much and the game still screams ND quality – dialogue looks great.
I swear the opening if this makes me think about the Star Wars Mace novel Shatter Point which is inspired by Apocalypse Now -> Heart of Darkness

Only 10 percent of people it either like or dislike. I didn't, and I'll buy this. Less than 10 percent of people hit like or dislike on TLOU 2 (top 10 selling ps4 game of all time). Yeah Intergalactic is 2/3 negative…but it's popular for chronically online people to to try to be very loud in an echo chamber. I'd say that a fair percentage of the 1,000,000 people who didn't vote on the reveal trailer would probs consider buying this game if the gameplay looks good. To Mr Dreamcast guy, I wouldn't pay attention to the dislikes on THIS video either. Same rules apply.

Its quite simple, people are fed up with woke naughty dog. Theyve gone with another main protagonist that looks like a bloke. Neil Druckmen was lucky with TLOU 2 because it piggybacked off the 1st game. No matter how good the gameplay might be it wont matter with a new IP. Naughty dog continues down a path that will be its end. I sincerely hope Sony steps in and puts an end to this shit.
