its way more complex then that even, because time is like all other things in our universe relative.
this sounds weird because you would say we all experience time the same way, and yes we do, on earth time is objective and we can calculate it.
but once removed from earth's rotation and subjected to a different force or way, time becomes subjective because its perimeters for measurement cease to exist.
it wouldn't surprise me if the way to beat old age is by slowing our physical perception of time which is a weird concept to think about.
if we could determine our own parameters for the passage of time on earth we could slow it down so much that outside of earth a single second is 100.000 years on earth.
even then, that time is still relative to our position, you could blink in space and millions of generations would have gone by on earth..
also the way to more accurately describe time is a flowing body of water, not a line.
