The Hubble mirror error was good in the end because the software fix that they devised before the servicing mission was later used to help sharpen mammogram films to detect breast cancer better.

In the US , Imperial is call Standard. Because we are not British. And proud of it.
Americans sent the first man to the moon, meanwhile us Aussies couldn't even convert a tv signal
I read that the Shuttle's main problem was trying to be all things to all people – you end up disappointing everyone. This scope creep was mainly the fault of the military
How about putting Verner von Braun and Musk in charge. Nazis have their downsides.

Hey Scott…you missed the first launch from Russia's east coast launch site…where they forgot to tell the rocket it had moved/it thought it was launching from Baikonur!!! Yea, it was lost…And have to say Starliner is way more of a massive screwup than Shuttle!!!

If I may be permitted to speak frankly: WHY THE HELL WASN'T THE ORIGINAL APOLLO 11 FOOTAGE IN A VAULT AS A NATIONAL TREASURE???
Near the top of the list should have been the Nedelin disaster in the Soviet Union. There was also the Soviet N1 rocket failures, and the many Chinese rocket failures, some killing plenty of people living nearby (though details of these failures are probably state secrets).
Space is of course amazingly difficult, and the slightest oversight can be fatally unforgiving: Challenger, Columbia, Soyuz 11.
#1 dumbest: Paying Astra to do anything.
There are two incidents I think should have been mentioned:
1. Apollo 16 John Young toppling over a heat flow wire
2. Cosmos 419, which had to go to Mars. But a timer was set to one and a half year instead of one and a half hour for the TMI burn.
lol you have to believe the pictures from India and China and defend them really being real photographs from rovers on the moon. They look like play station 1 graphics. I don’t expect every Chinese and Indian person to recognize the terrible photoshop job but it’s embarrassing to see people, who should know better, have to pretend they look good and are real.
Sure, they didn’t know any other way than to record off a rough wall. They didn’t want to degrade the crappy and obviously fake “moon landing” video. They “accidentally destroyed” the “real” tapes. I guess I’m “pretty stupid”.
