My husband brought home this tiny kitten about a month ago we don't know how she ended up alone outside in an alley in the cold and hungry there's tons of strays in my neighborhood but usually they're good about keeping their kittens safe and near them maybe this baby was left behind, or a human put her outside alone she was only about a week old but we kept her bottle fed her and now shes healthy thriving and becoming very playful my arms look like a scratching post between the bottle feedings and her wrapping her arms and legs around my arm and pretending to kill it lol

My Maia likes to chew on my arm when she's in heat, and extra attention seeking.
My left arm is all sore because of this
So whenever she cuddles up and starts to nibble, I jerk back my arm and yelp as in pain.

I've had plenty of cats over the years in my family before and never had a biter until now. I recently adopted a cat that was abandoned when its owner moved away. This cat is playful but doesn't like affection like petting, and it will put its cat arms around your hand and bite it. At first, the bites are light, but sometimes, they're harder. I tried a few of those things, but they didn't work.

Ive just had a kitten and she dont even let us pet her she constantly biting and scratches us. Ive tried so much poorl kids are covered in scratches 😢

I’ve had my cat for 15 years. He’s a male albino Siamese blue-eyed cat beautiful he just recently started biting me when he wants food. He’s never bitten me before and it hurts and I don’t wanna snap his nose because I read that you’re not supposed to do that if they bite you but this has to stop. I have him on a feeding schedule because he’s on CD cat food so I can’t just feed him whenever he wants to eat and he is a Garfield fat kitty, anybody out there have a fighting problem like this any ideas something to help I’ve tried these methods and they’re not helping

I have a CH cat that does not like dry treats so the treat thing does not work for us. I have been saying no bit and then I walk away to show him he looses attention when he does. He is getting better and I can tell by the few scabs I have left instead of an arm and hand full of them lol..

My cat gives love bites and bites me when I'm working or sleeping to get my attention. I don't mind when she was a little kitten but she's getting bigger and her bite is getting stronger.

I adopted my cat from the local shelter he's about a year old. We have bonded, and he loves to play fetch till my are hurts from throwing his toy. He follows me wherever I go in the house he sleeps with me. But if I try to pet him, he wants to wrap around my arm and bite & kick, when I walk, he jumps on my leg. If he sees my hand, he wants to bite it. I know he likes me. I've tried a few thing's but what seems to work with him, is my water squirt bottle. A little lite squirt does the trick, along with me saying a firm "No Bite" Hopefully, with patience, he'll eventually stop biting altogether. 😺

I have a lilac point Siamese boy who is almost nine months old, and he is a little biter. I got him from a reputable breeder, but I think the problem is that he came from a litter of one! He did have half siblings from an older litter to play with when he was little, and after they went to their forever homes he also had other half siblings from a younger litter. I kinda feel like he would be better behaviored if he had had to deal with litter mates his own age from the time of birth until he went home with me at 8 weeks.

He was acting kinda crazy today, but in the end he came back to sit in my lap and was acting gentle, but I bet he was tired too.

Is there any way to make up for those early weeks without litter mates?

Hello guys 👋🏻 I really would like to ask your help. I found a kitty one month and half old on the street(the mother died). I already brought her to the veterinarian and now she’s safe and healthy. The only 2 problems are that she’s eating only mousse (I add a bit of croquette) but if I want to give her only croquettes, she doesn’t eat it. Second point (and here I’m a bit scared for when she’ll become an adult cat), she bites, scratches and she walk sideways when she want to “attack”. Not strongly but still. Any advices?

This is the first cat I have ever had that bites I’ve tried everything 😢 I have some deep wounds I don’t know what happened to him before I adopted him I don’t want to take him back but I have wounds all over he bite’s really hard where I bleed alot

I stopped my cat by expressing my pain. When my rescue kitty first came to my home, he would get so excited and would just start biting my wrists. I asked rescue staff what to do.
They thought that the cat views me as a sibling and he really loves me. Well, I decided to test that. Everytime he started to bite me, I would say OWW really loud. I could see the wheels turning…then he just stopped because he did not want to hurt me. That's my story!

Calvin is still a kitten, about 5 months old. He loves to bite my hands, arms, and legs. Biting hard. I've tried all this. I'm really unhappy and stressed over it. The only cat I ever had passed away about 2 years ago and I just now felt able to adopt one. My first cat was already 1 year old when she moved indoors. She never bit or gave me any trouble. I had no idea a kitten was going to be this hard to deal with. I love him but………… it's getting really tiring.

I’m a bit desperate here, thinking about taking my 2.5 months old kitten back to the shelter. I’ve only had her for two weeks but i wake up every day by being bitten in the face, feets or hands.

Then, for the rest of the day and as long as she’s not sleeping she will be hunting my hands and feet.

I have tried literally everything. Playing with her, not playing with my hands, buying her toys, making pain noises, pushing my hands into the bite, ignoring her, taking her to the vet, and anything you can think of.

I feel like everyone is blowing me off saying cats hunt and it’s normal but really who would be ok with being bitten every single day multiple times a day.

I don’t know what to do but if things don’t get better I will take her back to the shelter.

My cat says how dare you ignore me when i mew so long. If i ignore it bited my leg. I swing my leg and its thrown away. My human reaction is to yell.
Next time if it retaliates angrily i might thrash it harder.
