I was a dauntless shield beliver untill I started using the guardian shield.
Having the ability to stagger any enemy or boss regardless of super armor is fucking broken (this does not apply to travelers)

My favorite is the shatter star shield, I’ve been using it as a practical weapon, and I found the special blast version very effective at even fighting some bosses
The main plus of guardian shield is that it gives a second of invincibility while parry

Fun fact: with shatter star shield, if you are precise enough, you can parry red ring attacks

Shatter Star = Stone Wall > Onslaught > Guardian > Dauntless. Shatter Star and Stone Wall have ranged options to break up blue ring attacks. Onslaught has Auto-timed shield bash for Blue Ring attacks. Guardian gives you counter attack choices. Dauntless is just the worst.

First one….all the time….to play even think ablut the shield stuff…too much
I like the Guardian and Stonewall Shields. The Guardian is good because it basically acts as the Golden Fleece parry from GoW games previously, and the Stonewall is good for my current Lúnda build because of the poison damage.

Stone Wall Shield for me 👍🏾 being able to block yellow attacks is overpowered damn near EVERY single enemy in the game has a yellow attack & straight up blocking it really takes a lot of the quick movements/parries out of combat really dumbing combat down. 90percent of my deaths in gow2018 involved a quick ass yellow attack I didn’t parry correctly or see coming 😂. And the shield L1 full charge bash is useful as well
shatter star sheild is good for weaker enimies but guardian shield is good for most fights

Dauntless shield is the best. The best shield at parrying and reflects projectiles, well most projectiles atleast.
I like the guardian shield best, I like the classic touch and the ability to shoot projectiles back at enemies

I like the old shield…. It's the only shield that uses a ranged attack after parrying from a ranged attack.
Mine is stonewall bc it fits the play style I prefer, make it not matter if I dodge or not
