If you have cemu 2.5 (latest version as of this comment) don't download the hook, cemu 2.0 and later DO NOT require a hook.

Here are some lifesavers for the ones in 2025:
The update and Dlc file is gonna look different, for that just navigate (if you wanna install update or/and dlc) the the meta folder , there might be no meta.xml file in there but thats fine, just use the meta folder, it works. Same for the update and and Dlc. (Thats how i got it working)
You dont need to open the Usb helper every time, just once when you download the game.
Do NOT launch the game from the usb helper, your pc might crash and the files get corrupted, i found out the hard way
You can download the latest version of cemo, but dont use the experiental one, use tha one thats says ,,Latest,, in green letters.
You cant use mouse AND keyboard, only keyboard, so make sure you have any type of controller like an xbox controller (they work the best bec of windows)e th

bind cemo to your taskbar so you always open the right cemu, trust me
Am I retarded, because I click on the CEMU website, the first one, and when I select 'Download latest version', instead of downloading the latest version it takes me to GitHub. I assume I need version 2.5, the latest one, yet I cannot download any folder or file that is the same as shown in this video. Anyone else have this discrepancy?
