I have this one on my "wait for a sale" list. I've heard good things about it, but the main character looks bland, weak, and the movement animations seem so… stiff. There's something off about him.
I really enjoyed Sekiro so this should be a treat

I was excited about this one but what really pissed me off was what they did with the demo, I had to stop for a few minutes because life and when I came back it disappeared from my steam library so I only got to experience a few minutes of it. After that, I learned that the same happens when you die to the frist boss, you don't get to replay it. And after watching a few reviews I've decided not to buy it because it seems to be average, which is a shame because I have played most souls likes and I like the genre and this game looks like it has a good blend of mechanics.
I’ve never played the souls games but I’m assuming this is a harder – kind of version considering it’s like Sekiro?
What is your favourite genre of games?
This is actually in my wishlist. If only I can get a next gen system now but soon! Other souls like games worth looking into is the recently released Steelrising (as a social studies teacher the setting is pure bliss!) and Lies of P! Souls games fans are really eatin good!

Good review, though this game doesn't call me to buy/play at all. I am more looking forward to Soulstice, though that game seems a bit different, more DMC/Nier Automata, less Souls.

I have simular issue with Sekiro, of which this looks a lot more like to me. (I don't really consider Sekiro a 'soulslike' personally. There's many similarity, but the combat and character progression are too different imo) inplayed Sekiro through twice, but havnt actually beaten it. Itching for a third even. I deplete there health bar before there posture for some enemies and bosses lol. And some of the 'beast' enemies felt like a misfit to me.

Souls like games always look good. I wish I had more of an interest in games like this. The only souls like game I would consider is Steel Rising, it looks cool. Ultimately I don't think I will actually bother with it though. I do like the plague doctor ninja look though, but a Blood Borne, Sekiro hybrid sounds like nightmare fuel to me.
