No previews of this game so far have played the game in Japanese with subs yet? If I understand it correctly it was a square game written for English (kingdom hearts comes to mind…gross). People freaking out about dialogue in a square Enix game needs to remember how bad they have been for over a decade writing script and dialogue for their games. It's all cringy. Lol.
I thought it was a fun demo I getting it….
I judge them for myself also but after it's not $70 lol The demo sucked but I was like whatever. The leak just killed any hope for it as the writing is cringe af and the world seems dead. Also seems like a game for kids on hardest difficulty you don't take damage I couldn't die when I tried. So it's not a good story or combat I am good. If someone else wants to pay $70 for this fine but I am done being finnessed by devs.

The demo was the only reason I'm getting this game. I hadn't planned on getting it till I tried the demo last night.
When I played the demo it just felt like my attacks weren’t hitting. Basically what I mean is it wasn’t satisfying to fight. I honestly think it’s was just the sound design for it but I was curious what anyone else thinks

I appreciate your review. I really enjoyed the demo, and I have already preordered the game. I really don’t understand all the hate going on with this game. The controls are a little complex, and I definitely feel like you really need to play the demo for a while to get a feel for it. I see a lot of reviewers running through the demo as fast as possible, and I just don’t feel like they’re giving their self enough time.

Honestly I didn’t know what to expect of the game watching the first gameplay reveals it looked cool just the parkour/ traversal abilities they should looked cool was a skeptic about it, and found out about a demo, that doesn’t really happen anymore we just get beta tests but an actual demo is few and far between nowadays, but I wil say playing the demo this game is actually pretty cool and I’m considering preordering it, it could be a good hold over until hogwarts legacy comes out then I’ll play that game till jedi survivor comes out
This game felt a bit like a more developed action RPG version of Soul Sacrifice, which I dig.

I flip back and forth. The funny thing it depends on Munster Hunter. Why? It’s on game pass and if it’s world, combat and if it’s has a fun factor then I’ll be playing that and because of that I’ll play it later, unless it’s a wait for sale type game.

You can't judge a game from the stupid Demo they just through together to satisfy the masses so we would just shut up so they could finish the game polishing. We expect a demo from a AAA developer, so they just gave us something halfcocked like a mother throws a pacifier into a crying babies mouth. You all need to shut up and wait for the final review if you don't have money to burn on a pre-order gamble. Plus, I think they gave us the worst to see what changes they need to make. I don't think the demo represents much of the overall game at all beyond the bare minimum of mechanics.
Blah blah blabah. This was surely not scripted at all. I doubt there were even bullet points in order of discussion. Repetitive, unhelpful and I am moving on.
The game looks promising but as you said is a kind of 6/7 out of 10. In many has judged it because of the demo but there’s many other aspects that we will found out in the full game like magic improvements while progressing and also the story to be seen as we don’t know much about except this ordinary girl getting dragged into this fantasy world so there’s many elements to be discovered. I personally will wait for a sale as this is that kind of games that will be not far ahead into the PSN weekend’s offer’s
