I have a jumpy dog. Training is tiring me out, but I do so want him to be a well-mannered dog.
While trying to train an alternative behavior, you must not let the dog jump….so how do you PREVENT the jumping while he is learning the new behavior? All you advise is NOT to step on the leash. What SHOULD the trainer do to.precent the jumping?
My pups love to jump when greeting people no matter where we are. I would love to teach them how to stop this behavior
I do have a jumping dog
I got him to stop jumping on me but other people, well that's another problem. Other than tossing him his frozen kong toy with food in it,I'm still working on it.
Yes, my newly adopted 4 month old Siberian Husky is a jumper when excited…extremely excited. I try to catch his bursts of energy and run him around the yard or a walk around the neighborhood, which helps.
Hi! I am looking for a small square indoor playpen but none of your play pen links in any descriptions work. I was a playpen I liked in your seperation anxiety video but the Amazon link doesn’t work. Do you have a link to it?
My pup is jumping growling and seems aggressive when people come over or near. I keep him in the indoor playpen when guests come but he doesn’t calm down until they leave. Please help
My 7month old TT is a jumper. I don't mind her jumping on me except when she uses her teeth. But jumping on others is a no no. It's a long ongoing thing training her. She even jumped on mr policeman's clean trousers. Eek. That was embarrassing 😳
14 week old lab/Amstaff mix here who is so excited that he's tall enough to reach the table! 😂😂😂 Perfect timing.
14week old heeler here. Just starting to jump…will be using this video 100%
Just what I needed! My four month old Lab is a jumper!
I have an aussie. She's definitely jumpy.
I've worked with her to sit instead of jump. And she doesn't get pet until she's calmly sitting.
It has helped, but we still have lots of work to do.
Yes I have a 10 month old Aussie and I am 6 months pregnant. I worry he will hurt me when he jumps on me as sometimes he will jump and push me from the back. Or he jumps playfully on my 4 year olds nephew and I worry he will hurt him.
