These reviews are too positive for a device that has more bugs than a dumpster on a hot summer day, unfinished products are a huge problem in today's society and this one is getting praise for no particular reason other than it runs steam and some of its library at 800p, the switch even has 1080p AAA games, so why can't this "amazing" achieve it

Funny to hear other reviewers say how expensive it is when for $399 you're getting as much on-board storage as the Switch OLED, RDNA2 graphics, a more open software experience, and chances are you already own at least a few games you're not going to have to rebuy for handheld.
Everyone compares it to the Nintendo switch smh. They are not even close to similar. It really should be compared to the aya neo or onexplayer instead.
The keyboard.. i wonder why didn't they use the one with the steam controller? Using 2 touchpads to type is natural, like what I'm doing now on android – with my thumbs.

The more I check the Steam Deck reviews and it's been mixed with positive and negative, the more I want it. I never got Final Fantasy VII Remake and God of War (2018) for my PS4 slim because I no longer own a TV. I saw somebody on YouTube playing them and they run amazing!
I'm considering getting the cheapest model. I know people want the higher ones but I figure a 512 GB microSD card goes for $60 on Amazon. I plan to store everything there. My Flip 3 can only reach 6th generation home console gaming for emus like in GameCube. Steam Deck adds the 7th and 8th gens or PS3 and PS4 quality.

Takes at least 5 to 10 years to make the previous generations' power into a handheld. Wii U was really a PlayStation 3.5. And Vita was more PlayStation 2.25 while PSP was more PlayStation 1.75.
Buy it to support Gabe Newell. The guy literally went around and hand-delivered a few of them himself. Valve is the type of company all gamers should root for.

Still better than playing on mobile garbage. But I aint impressed with this and other similar concept they released which are so overpriced. Pocket PC? Lol who's gonna use that remember Tungsten before? Steam Deck can't compete with Nintendo Switch plus all games are only available via download (cause its from Steam) that is whack. Like Google Stadia this wont last long Steam is crap.
