You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the digital presence of our diverse clientele, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of quality and performance.Objectives & Responsibilities:Open Source Technologies: Leverage your understanding of open source and community-based technologies to build robust, scalable solutions that cater to client needs.End-to-End Development: Lead the development of WordPress websites from inception to completion, ensuring all project requirements are met and exceeded.CSS/SASS, JavaScript, PHP Templating: Utilize your extensive knowledge of these languages to develop dynamic, responsive, and high-performance web pages.Code Management: Use GitHub for effective version control, code management, and team collaboration.Design Mockups: Accurately interpret and provide feedback to the Design team for technical feasibility. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of experience in web development, and systems creation with WordPress, preferably within a digital marketing or software development environment.
Proficiency in QA tools and software, such as Asana, JIRA, Selenium, QTest, etc. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for test automation is a plus.
In-depth understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) and WPEngine’s developer tools, and technical solutions.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently. Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in accurately tracking time using Harvest and efficiently managing multiple tasks with project management tools such as Asana.
Bonus: experience with Webflow
