My cat already jumps from the floor to my shoulder at his desire or my tapping. He is just born to do it.
How I make it stop tearing up my skin in a HOT climate without puncturing my skin to hold on.
He also only does it when I am leaving or getting ready to leave for work.
I clip his nails, should I not? It hurts when he jumps me.

Bending over one day in a new robe and my Fiona jumped on my head and wouldn’t leave my shoulders I’ve had her for 2-3 yrs since 10 wks old she never did this thought it was the robe but she did it out the shower in a towel not the same experience she had nails trimmed but I felt them guess she became a shoulder cat not sure why but she is now

Thank you so much! It's taken about a month, but my cat is now getting on my shoulder from my bed, but he's still not getting on my shoulder from standing up. Whenever I'm feeding him on my shoulder, he gets off whenever I stand up, so I believe he is just worried about the height. Is there a good way to help this?

I have an old and young cat, my old cat is a sort of lap cat, though, I'm just not sure how to make her understand that she can walk on my shoulder, my younger cat the same. Please help – they just get disinterested when I put it over my shoulder.

Albert and Mia I was wondering, what if my cat refuses even when I offer food, treats, and sometimes both though i have charged my clicker and she understands finger targeting? She is a 1 year old former outdoor cat, who is abit skiddish, only because we got her 3-4 weeks ago. If I could have a hand, that would bw awsome!
