Nozomi Networks adds support for Nvidia BlueField DPUs to enhance OT and IoT security

Industrial cybersecurity firm Nozomi Networks Inc. today announced a new integration with Nvidia BlueField data processing units to strengthen artificial intelligence-powered cybersecurity monitoring, analysis and response for the world’s most demanding industrial environments.

The new integration allows security professionals to deploy Nozomi sensors on Nvidia BlueField-3 DPUs to create what the company says is a highly efficient, accelerated computing platform for security monitoring that provides greater flexibility to leverage AI for real-time threat detection and response.

Nozomi Networks’ purpose-built operational technology, internet of things network and endpoint sensors are now deployable on Nvidia BlueField DPUs, giving chief information security officers and their teams new capabilities for securing critical infrastructure. The integration, which leverages AI-powered monitoring and anomaly detection at the edge, allows for real-time threat detection and response directly on Nvidia BlueField-3 DPUs, helping protect vital operations from cyberattacks.

Additionally, the new features allow for the offloading of Nozomi data processing from CPUs to BlueField DPUs. The company says that delivers improved overall system resilience and boosts to OT process uptime by freeing compute resources for essential industrial workloads. The solution enhances protection for legacy and mission-critical systems through a deployment path that eliminates the need for network or system configuration changes while still delivering robust analysis and security coverage.

The integration also gives security professionals and industrial operators the ability to combine security insights from Nozomi sensors on Nvidia BlueField with data collected from network, wireless and endpoint sensors deployed across enterprise environments. The result is global visibility and security analytics available through the Nozomi Networks platform.
