Blizzard doesn't learn from their mistakes, they do this crap with every game. They cant just let people have fun they have to constantly change and ruin crap for people. It goes all the way back to D2 when they killed the Frozen orb/whirlwind builds.

I uninstalled D4 after their ridiculous Unplayable Update. I stopped by to see if it's still the same, or if they learned their lesson and reverted back pre-update.
Go back to overloading D3 servers, stop paying to play D4, and they'll get the hint..
I've been huge fan of D1 and D2. D3 was OK, and now I have a question… why the hell are people even play/buy D4?

when blizzard became an ip, the were humbled by their success, then they become greedy and they saw, that the get away with it, because their playerbase will not quit so easily. like an addication, once you are in the circle, you cannot leave. hook line and sinker.
funny, this is what blizzard does best. patch over patch, the nerve, change, never come to an end. same happens still in wow. once they see that something is out of balance, they do not fix the out of balance the "fix" the entire game. like every addon changed the way how classes were build. players had to change over and over again. maybe some things are better, but not all of them. what does this imply, well bad game design or better bad game mechanic design. same goes for diablo and well the greed is a big part of it.
I'm sure they'll balance it with their microtransactions

I haven't spent a penny on Diablo 4 and have had lots of entertainment already. Keep it up Blizzard! I have NO sympathy for the players, keeping a scummy company like actiblizzard in business, but I do appreciate having a laugh at them, the company and the players. Goes back to Baldurs Gate 3

It feels like they deliberately created this situation to fix it themselves as a PR stunt and a litmus test to see how pissed people would get in this situation, rather than anything to do with improving the game.

it had nothing to do with not knowing what was coming its what the patch did and all they did was talk and the new patch didn't do anything period.we were just fine with our builds they just wanted to slow down .its a new game they had no business nerfing anything and only twitch streamers who were posting those builds were the ones doing that damage.and blizzard is just dragging it out.and they did take away stuff and didn't replace it.

I already knew this was going to happen. Didn't even bother with the game at all because it's Diablo 3 but the Cash Cow version
Blizzard will never get another dime out me. I have avoided Diablo 4 for that reason. It really doesn't surprise me that they are mismanaging the game. Its kinda a case of "I told you so".

The game has been slowed down the encourage the sale of microtransactions. This is pretty much the last straw for me. I'm done with modern gaming.
It is a known cash grab tactic of p2w titles to make the game slightly worse through a patch/update and lead the custumers to cash items/boosts.
You dont need those items/boosts when the game is too easy or fast enough.
People are getting sick of the nickel and diming going on. If I get a free game, like POE then I don't mind cosmetics and passes. If I pay 80 bucks for a game, I don't like it, it leaves a sour taste. Even cosmetics imply that all the rest of the 'found' armor will be ugly or drab. I don't want to adorn my hero with bought cosmetic armor, I want to adorn my hero with the bloody armor found on the battle field that looks cool as shlt. Ahh well, over to BG3 where they get it.
They did the opposite of what Elden Ring did where they reduced cooldowns and made more builds and weapons viable.
