I have only ever played this in single player.
I play this with my friend and it made us realize that, despite having never worked together, our experiences in The Health Care and The Fast Food respectively have made us quite good at communicating through the storm. I still fall off platforms all the time tho.
I play this on Parsec, so I'm the friend who can't move if there's too many things going on in the level because Overcook turns into a PowerPoint presentation. Not even kidding.
My bf, now husband and I played this all the way through. Sometimes there was chaos but we actually had a great time figuring it out together. Too bad Overcooked 2 wasn't as good.

I played this in an overnight sleepover with four more friends. Two of my friends panicked and they were so excited to have me played since they were expecting that I would panic like they are. Since I arrived late because I had to attend a Christmas party before the overnight, they were utterly disappointed that another of my friend and I played it calmly. We did fail some levels but they were just disappointed that we played the game calmly when they expected that we panicked like them. LMAO
Though playing the game solo is a pain in the ass.
