4:05 that puddle looks so bad. it only reflects that much sky if it's metallic liquid. and overall the blood in this game can be brick red but not blood red. the shade is too muted.

I like that if you blow someone apart in the direction of another enemy, if the body parts cascade against them they get covered in the gore themselves.

This game was disappointing and mediocre in all honestly, but it's lauded since most games that are being released now have completely perfected the art of becoming flaming piles of dogshit. The game's "ok" gore (the splat effects are an exception) was especially a let down since i expected it to live up to the original movie's= Verhoeven's gore MADE those action movies. However the game itself also didn't live up to the movie stylistically or audio-wise with the latter probably being the biggest problem facing fps games today. The "bb-gun" effect in all these games really emasculates them and just kills the fun.

MY PERSONAL REVIEW:
THE PERFORMANCE IS HORRIBLE!!! My FPS drops so low in many places it's almost unplayable. And the scenes talking with other people look worse than Xbox 360 quality! However, the rest of the game does look really good. Though it's not enough to save this broken release. There are graphical glitches galore, pop in, you name it. Also, between action sequences I am very bored just walking around talking to people, scanning etc. The map is also VERY small.
Only one city map exists and it's very small. I was getting tired of walking around in this same small city map over & over seeing the same stores. Should have had different maps of other areas of the city. I also felt very restricted, as it only opens certain entrances only when a mission takes you there. And afterward you cannot return. It ''tightly'' steers you like a train on a track, no freedom.
MY SCORE: 3/10
Active ragdolls would be cool, shouldn't be too crazy since it's made in Unreal Engine.

Im disappointed that there is no aftermath at all, such small maps with linited enemies, is it really that hard to leave the body in the area until you keave?
Aftermath aside this game sure catches the intensity and gruesome elements of Robocop. I will definitely get myself a copy. The pooling is quite something and the giant splotches caused by explosions remind me of Conflict Desert Storm.
Its pretty neat. Personally i like a stronger punchier weapon than this pistol. Tho it maybe so still because you ARE a tank so you control all the recoil
I'm sorry, but there are way TOO MANY bits and pieces for exploding heads… Try putting all those together and the characters would have oversized heads.
Kind of a shame that you can’t continue to dismember once NPCs have died. But overall, I’m very pleased with this shoot ‘em up linear story. We need more AA games!

A, 1 brain shot (cervical spine too) to instantly kill with all weapons, 1 heart shot to kill very fast with all ranged weapons too, double lung shots kill quickly.
B, 1 headshot, 2-3 body shots

D, 3 headshots, 4 body shots
Imagine if the blood and spilling was like in Half sword, and the body danage as in Dead Island 2! 🤩 this is just laughably bad!

The bullet spongy enemies you face have weak points on the legs and the nuts. They're not that spongy once you figure that out.

I love Robocop but not this game. It just feels way too shallow and boring. However I'm glad to see gore as I honestly was not expecting that.
I'm just happy we have blood and gore in a game where you face off against mostly human enemies. I noticed a trend, especially in AAA games, where blood and gore are only acceptable when facing off against monsters, zombies, etc. or if the context is either politically correct or whacky enough for humans to turn into pink mist. I'm happy the developers of this game didn't bend the knee to the mob of journalists who are always so sensitive when violence is depicted this way, noting how this game let's you play as a member of law enforcement, something deemed as a taboo in a lot of mainstream circles.
Additional note about the gameplay, one feature I think would benefit this game has to be a gun-kata combat move similar to the one found in The Darkness II wherein the player gets to charge a short burst of it if performing well enough (maybe landing successive headshots or trick shots).

I don't really expect any Metal Gear games to get gore reviews based on the lack of dismemberment, but they have great character responses and even responsive bosses (if they're not Metal Gears or other robots)
