Our foster puppy just turned 9 months old. She’s potty trained, a great car rider and overall as sweet as can be. She knows sit, down, leave it and off. She’s pretty good at shake too. She’s a little more skittish in public than we’d like, I don’t think she got a lot of early socialization ( we’ve had her about 1 month). We’re working on socialization, leash training and release. Not sure how long we’ll have her ( would love to keep her). We are getting a new puppy of our own in about 6 weeks. Looking forward to implementing your tools and suggestions. if I remove the water won’t my puppy get dehydrated? I was going to remove the water so she doesn’t go potty in her crate at night but I don’t want to harm her by taking it away
Oh man, I was moving my pup when she fell asleep.. glad to know not to do that now! Thankfully only a couple days into having her so good time to correct to using other tips to make it more fun. Was already doing her meals in it but will also add a bit of play time and training using her food in there too. Have been having trouble with crying early morning once she wakes in it the last few nights so hopefully a bit of changing it up helps that.
