I live in an apartment. I have to put my puppy on a leash. What do i do then?
I let my GSD puppy go freely out on walks on our farm. I can tell when he’s tired. He flops or pants hard and we quit. But we don’t run. At 3 months I started the leash and he does fine on short walks.
I've tried the luring technique with my puppy but she isn't good at following the treats.

I’m having the same issue putting the leash on my 10 week old mini golden doodle and she does not like the leash on her so she won’t move at all or throw a fit and start barking like she is mad it’s around her neck so I can’t even walk her around my yard anywhere she shuts down and as soon as I take it off she runs I pray this helps

Thank you! This has been such a game changer. I was struggling with different techniques and was feeling frustrated about how to help my little 7 month old golden girl become a good walker. I just started doing this training a few days ago and I'm already feeling reassured that we found the right training! Lots of work to be done, but it's going great after just a couple sessions. She's already sitting down every single time I stop, and realized she needs to stay beside me and pay attention to me. Phew, what a relief. You guys are great.
