Love your straight forward clear instructions. Thanks
It's weird hearing someone say it's 35 degrees & hot. Invaluable information. Thank you.
this was gold.
What about treat train in conjunction/w and if toy reward is introduced early or just an attention getter ?
Great clip
I've been binge watching your videos! Just got our 11 week old german shepherd female, and she has great potential for protection! THANK YOU for such good information 🙌🏼
A little off topic but I effin LOVE the intro on this video. Makes me want to get out there with my Rhodesian Ridgeback x English Mastiff, Cricket.
Actually, I'm gonna hit the field now.
You don’t use food for training?
I’ve been watching your videos for awhile now.I have a husky that I trained from pup.I wish I would of know this way to motivate play.she won’t play with toys at all and maybe that’s just her,I will use this way of teaching once we get our shep pup.can’t wait !! These so much I’m learning that I didn’t know
holy shit the intro is ridiculous lol, it's like a horror movie
That's what my Malinois X.pup trainer told me. Toys go in the box until we play together. 2 days of No Toys changed her from little play together to 2 hrs inactive play each day. She puts the ball right in my hand so I can throw it. Before she kept it and play was Over. She can.catch the ball on the fly now. Try it you will have so much more fun.with your dog.
Great video as usual
Love your videos
What's beautiful dog simply beautiful
One question I have how much do you enjoy what you do
The business end must have its headaches but overall I would think you love every day
Is that a Malinois and German Shepard mix ?
What about a 1 yo rescue that had no training? I feel like her behavior tells me to do sort of a hybrid of what you shared. You taught me something with this though, thank you.
Pretty puppy
i think most working dogs know how to play instinctively. Biting, chasing, searching, tugging, bringing balls and sticks back, etc are natural. No reason to teach a german shepherd, or even a shepherd mix what do. All you teach them is how to do play with you. one of my (older) neighbors got a shepherd mix and just left here outside by herself in a wooded lot. She was definitely too much dog for an old man, but she was smart. I used to just walk up to the fence, she did not know me from adam, and went like: where is your toy? where is your toy, and she would start looking for anything to play with, a flat football, a stick, an old tennisball, I would then throw it. she would bring it back and play tug for little, then surrender it for me to throw it again. she had so much fun, never tried to come over the fence either. She knew that my side of the fence was not her side of the fence. That dog was young and had zero training.
Thanks for the video ❤️
Great video thanks for.sharing
She's beautiful!!!
This content is my absolute favourite go to no nonsense guide with my puppy absolutely changed our lives.
Thank you Haz and the team at shield 🛡 for all the work you guys do and share, never change
We have the exact opposite problem with my puppy, he only wants to play with toys with one of us. We’d love it if he took the toy and played by himself for awhile!
WOW my puppy is 6 months I really need help. Where have you been
The German shepherd i used to have like play ball with all needed to throw the ball and she would go get the ball and bring it back to me so i could throw the ball again
If you don’t teach a dog to bring the tug back to keep playing as a pup it becomes way harder when they are adults.
Interesting … so true. My puppy is 4 months and the toys are free to grab , thanks god I found you .
Thanks for showing your videos I found my mistake on playing with her thank you for the video it taught me something I didn't realize I was doing wrong
How much is it please
She is beautiful nice dog
Awesome video. Looking forward to implementing all this training with our new puppy.
Clever puppy. But structurally & Conformation wise, very poor.
