We wouldn’t be able to get a Captain Lou Mario as he died years before
I watched the trailer live I thought it was pretty solid the animation was cool from what we see of the story I don’t really get what the plot is but we might see other trailers showing it, and the voice actors well Jack, Kevin, and Keegan sound good even great, from what I’ve seen from Charlie Day’s role he sounds like he could definitely voice Luigi, and Chris Pratt well let’s just say Chris is not playing Mario, Mario is playing Chris. Chris just doesn’t work well he sounds like he’s trying a slight accent but it still sounds like he’s using his normal voice
i do NOT agree with the take that charles wouldn't work for this movie. he'd work just fine, he'd just have to do things a bit differently for mario and luigi (if he were to replace them). i wouldn't mind hearing charles throughout the whole movie as the bros at ALL.
