I agree that the game dosent have a heart and the story is very meh but this was the devs first huge game so im willing to give them some slack
To be honest the only reviews that are worth their salt, are the ones from people who have played it in it's entirity for the most part.
Mind you for all the so called hate and boycotting from the hurt crowd, the game is doing fantastic.

For the lore thing, this game dates to before any of that even happened (1899). It's still historically accurate according to the books and Fantastic Beasts movies, rather impressive if I do say so myself.

I won't lie the game is mid. The main story was basic. THE B plot was more interesting. But the only reason I played it was cause the trans community told me not to. Sorry but the trans community gave this game way too much hype. I would give it a 8 out of ten but it is the best harry Potter ever
Lack of the John Williams score? I am wondering if she played the game at all. The John Williams score was played ( although briefly) when you did finally arrive at Hogwarts. It gave me goosebumps. I think it was best not to use the score continuously. This is a different story, a different time. If that score was constantly played, it will keep you reminded of Harry Potter. They did a fantastic job on the game's score. It has the essence of Williams score, but has its own originality.

I really don't care if it's "lore consistent." Just give me a fun Harry Potter game. Not everything needs to be stuck in the box of being "cannon." Me and my friend have been playing the game for a while since we both love free roam games and the different collectibles, i dunno what Jaina is on but she seriously hasn't played a game in her life if she has given this a 1/10 review, unless shes angry about specific quests being unavailable and are unique to certain houses. Regardless the games fun and theirs still more for me to explore.
Honestly I have only one complaint about the game leveling up to max level takes way way too long the XP is so slow for a power leveler this feels like a punch in the face
