Just got the game, and on my first play I was so so frustrated. The movement alone is difficult in terms of my ability to track my movement, and often triggered my motion sickness… I will definitely be adding the character highlights because often I was totally lost from not being able to really see what was going on. I really hope that the game continues to improve on accessibility.

Steve, any word on how it plays for those who need to use Windows Magnifier to read text? I see some pop up tooltip boxes in the UI and those never play nice with WinMag, unless maybe they can be made sticky.
Before watching; I'm really not good at turn based combat and the u.i. looks like something out of an mmo; too complicated and everything's too small, but also I want to use the character creator SO MUCH! I hope the game's not too stressful, gameplay wise.
Yep I painfully waited and did the ps5 preorder thing knowing I can take advantage of PlayStations zoom controls which are more effective then Windows which can’t deal with zoom while streaming using dual monitors for game and twitch chat ( streamer visuals) at the same time without breaking stream capture. So, I expect I’ll have a much easier time using my 48in tv as my game screen on my ps5 with zoom since I have only one working eye at 20/1200 corrected to 800 by my glasses
Great video. Legally blind long time DnD fan here. Sad that I can’t buy this day 1, as the menuing is to strenuous on the eyes to consider buying.
I wonder how useable the mini map is? I find that a good map really helps me navigate (looking at you, Control, with your useless map) so I would like to hear or read your thoughts on navigation!
A deaf gamer here. I play DDO with some deaf friends, and in multiplayer option with one of them, there is NO in-game text-based chat at all! I dunno if there's voice chat available but I suspect so. My friend and I get around this with videophone calls while playing. TBH it's really awesome that way but if another friend had decided to get BG3 as well, the VP doesn't allow for 3-way chat among 3 deafies. Zoom is an option, sure but that 's a second monitor to set up which not everyone would be able to do so.
