I just got a kitten, it's midnight right now while I'm writing this. We just fi wished trying to get the most fleas out from our kitten, I had to give it a bath twice and remove the fleas with my hands, there were way too many, we don't know where jy uncle found this kitten and who he got it from. We were able to get a lot of fleas out, but we are still concerned so we will probably take it to the vet tomorrow morning, the video still helped a lot.

A word of caution regarding the blow dryer step (3:46 ): Our six-week old foster kitten handled the bath itself pretty well, but a few seconds into the blow dry (lowest settings, and with a diffuser), she bit my husband (who was holding her) pretty badly. This resulted in having to return her for the shelter’s 5-day quarantine, antibiotics for my husband, and negotiations with the shelter to make sure she’s monitored for 10 days, per our healthcare provider’s guidance. It’s clear to us that in this instance, the noise of the blow dryer was just too much for our little girl, especially following what was possibly a bath that was more stressful than she was letting on. I really regret having used the dryer, and won’t ever use it again with a kitten or cat.

I have 7 kittens 5 weeks old I’m currently flea bathing i turn my ac off in the bed room abs put them on the Blakey to warm up together.
I flea bath then every other day first day I got 40 or soo off of them second 15 this time I only got 4 off them. (I’ve had them 7 days) and I have a spray I use in my room as they are only in my bedroom. My cat I treated even though when I checked him he had none but if eggs drop off me out of the room I don’t want the fleas spreading so this way my cat all outside the room (I thought of putting my cat in the room with the kitten as like scarifie for the greater good cause as soon as they bite him the fleas would die xD .. but decided against it.
How old does a kitten need to be to give a bath? Mine is only a few days old but covered in fleas. I’m trying to pick them off and using a flea comb but he’s so tiny we can’t get to them (they’re mostly on his belly and legs)
