If there’s banter frequency options I’m sure people will appreciate that. As a Dragon’s Dogma fan, I’ve become accustomed to banter and it doesn’t bother me at all. Then again, banter in dragon’s dogma wasn’t really cringe like the trailer.
Anyone else glad that huge particle trail during running or parkour is gone. It obscured the entire player lol. That said the new gameplay looks soooooo much cleaner and just all around better.
Forspoken looks this gorgeous and keeps the fun factor consistent they should consider making the last Airbender in this style. It fits perfectly.

They lost me at graded battles. I hate that. I know it's a petty thing, but it's a pet peeve.

Forspoken never was Cringe, some people jumped on a 30 second trailer saying it was Cringe but had their own reason. The badass female protagonist of color started talking and that annoyed some so called gamers.
So long as the side quests are better than final fantasy 15.
Every other game is trying to be some kind of comedy. This saints row kind of approach gets tired quick. There aren't that many people that are actually funny even though dozens of people think of themselves as funny.

To all of you clowns who have made your minds up to hate this game no matter what; I suggest you cringe people go and read Eurogamer's latest article on the game and how they completely make those online calling out the supposedly horrible dialogue look like clowns.
The person who got to preview it said that ALL of the dialogue that we've been seeing in the trailers has been taken out of context and with no information of the story situation going on at the time or the character's state of mind at the time. They said that what they played, when getting to experience it in context, was absolutely amazing and not bad at all. In all facets including the dialogue. Apparently too, the amount of dialogue between the main character and Cuff can be fiddled with in the menus.
As for why people are hating on this game; it's simple. Firstly, it started out as hating on the game because it has a brown female as the main character and then it grew from there. So now they must call out non existent flaws that they themselves have absolutely no information on which to base their "opinion". It's to the point now where this game could be one of the greatest of all time and those fools who have been online complaining would still hate it. That's why these ppl are never taken seriously. They don't have one authentic bone in their body and somehow they have even less authentic thoughts than they do authentic bones. So that'd be negative authentic thoughts. Which is quite accurate since they're always negative. They have no credibility whatsoever.
Probably would have given this one a miss… But I'm getting it for free because of AMD's rewards system… So I'll give it a look but… God I hate games where numbers bounce out of enemies…

Getting this game for free from my new GPU. Not disappointed, so far.
While the traversal and combat look interesting, I'm still not sold on the art direction and the UI; the game looks bland and drab with high contrast shadows that just doesn't look interesting, and the UI is so busy and jarring, I can't see myself enjoying navigating the menus. I wish the game had more vibrancy to its looks 🙁
im gonna play this game for the combat and world but i don't have any faith in the story so far i mean maybe its good but its not a day one purchase for me

I do like the look of it. Also happy to know you can turn off the banter. I personally prefer a quiet character like in Elden Ring. Even in Monster Hunter Rise I turn player character voice lines off. More games definitely need to add that as an option it is really really appreciated.
This isn’t good imo. If the devs were so confident with the Dialog of this game they wouldn’t have put a feature to turn it off. And the game still looks to generic, the world looks empty and boring. Still cringe and still very hesitant to buy.
