I guess 15 million can only get you a very good beta. And these days thats not even a guarantee. I mean it seems they focused on getting the important parts and left aside the unnecessary polish and addons (more voice lines for example)
It's very bazaar how dope the game is

Love it. It's like a lost OG Xbox/PS2/Gamecube videogame with a new coat of paint. Very charming despite its budgetary constraints. All of it fits the IP quite well.

The entire game is just "HEY! LOOK! IT'S THAT THING THAT YOU KNOW FROM THE MOVIE! COOL RIGHT?!"
It's just the developers constantly trying to distract you so that you don't notice that what you're playing is a slow-paced, subpar shooter that would have already been considered dated and boring 25 years ago.
What's really sad about all of this is that it actually worked. People still think this is a great game, because 'references'.
