Being that AC Odyssey was released in 2018 2 years after trump, is anyone besides me aware that the story is painting a picture of 2018 Trumps first 2 years but yeah its really obvious to me. I've re played the game at least 15 or twenty times now and all I find myself saying is yeah that scum bag Kleon is definitely TRUMP.
AC needs to focus on lore and work on the story about the creed and how it works along with the hierarchy system
I will tell you know if you watch the video and wonder is this game for you. Gameplay and graphics are great I hate the rpg almost nothing or no one is a one hit assassin, and the story is okay until it just falls off at the end to the point I finished the game and was like that was the biggest waste of time ever. It gets you a little worked up and then just destroys the entire game like what why? Just a huge waste of time don’t buy it for the story worst one yet

BUT — Alexios' voice acting was AWESOME. I am .. lol.. "shocked and appalled" at what you said about it. Overwhelmingly, from what I've heard and read, a lot of folks like Alexios' voice – not overdone, and authentic to the place and time.
I'm all for gender choice, I think it makes many games more accessible for folks like me – I generally like to play as a male protag – it's more immersive for me (I still play games with female protags for sure, but usually prefer to play as my gender – which I don't feel guilty about, lol).
Incidentally, I like the newer AC games – Origins, Odyssey and soon, Shadows. Absolutely love the new games. They make AC games far more to my liking, more "rpg-like" rather than just stealth and parkour-heavy gameplay.

This is my first AC game for some reason, and I'm playing it 6 years later. I bought it a few years back and couldn't get past the first chapter because of how long it was taking and how unfamiliar with this style of combat in games. Having grinded out a more challenging game like Elden Ring and finding renewed interest in the setting (since Nolan is adapting The Odyssey), I've decided to give this game another shot. Long story short, this is one of the most enjoyable game experiences I've had in a long time. I don't have any sentimentality to the old games so I get to play it as a standalone action RPG. It's incredibly dense, and I've been looking for a game lately to sink a ridiculous amount of time into. The visuals on a PS5 still look great for a 2019 game, and while the Ubisoft open-world gameplay meta can be extremely repetitive and stale, I find still myself thinking about going home and playing it the entire day I'm at work. Not sure why there's pockets of the fanbase that despise this game, but as a complete outsider, this is a fantastic standalone, entry-level action/adventure RPG.
