Man I found your channel looking for info for steam deck before it came out. I was a light Xbox gamer but was so interested in pc gaming. You helped me thru so much being a new steam user let alone just on Linux. Desktop mode help dock reviews putting game pass on deck. I’ll never forget learning steam and pc and you were a huge part of that. I don’t use my deck super often anymore but it was an amazing into into pc gaming. Haven’t watched you in forever but I am watching now and you still seem like the same honest dude. Thank you for the help and thank you for the honest reviews!
Pretty much using mine for Indie games. But even the recent non-AAA games like Palworld and No Rest For The Wicked are getting harder to get a consistent 40 fps on the Steam Deck. Hopefully, we will get a Steam Deck 2 announcement later this year.

Good thing new games are garbage and I'm not remotely interested in playing those. The last new game I played was Zelda tears of the kingdom.

I just upgraded my lcd deck to the oled deck and I don’t regret the purchase. The screen is so much better. I got GeForce now running on it and chiaki4deck running to remote play my PS5. Money well spent
Facts steam deck lcd stronger than oled because the lcd screen can taking longer years without out the ghosts icon or oled liquid

How much time do you spend on the OS lol. Linux or windows you only load up the os to fire the game up, you don't necessarily spend time browsing through it. I don't really see that huge of a difference except I agree that windows os do take up 4gb of ram on the get go so 16gb is not really enough.
About a year and a half on mine and it gets used at LEAST once a day because I play about an hour of emulated games in bed. Yes I do play several newer PC games but it mostly gets used for emulation. Hands down the easiest and most reliable emulation machine.
A lot of people don't realize that Proton actually has better games compatibility than Windows 11. There are so many games that were designed for windows 7, 8, or 10 that just crash to desktop in Windows 11 (such as Bayonetta) but run flawlessly in Linux under Proton. Proton really is a killer app.
Not worth it. Can't play decent ps3, xbox 360, tweak too much to play X Deviant. Can't play GamePass. Too weak to connect to a TV. Had the Oled. Nice screen. Had the Ally too.much crashing, no battery. I have a Legion Go….what a Beauty, easiest to set up, nice screen, good battery and performance.
