But it is fine to tell a cat off though as long as it’s done in the right way. I mean the cat needs to understand that even though it’s they’re natural instincts it’s still wrong to scratch furniture because we could end up losing our furniture if that happens but cats don’t understand that though so we have to teach them from right to to wrong our selfs in a way that they can understand. Second we can still sound scary while saying no but we mustn’t shout too loud or just like you said in the video we can use a firm no. And your right we can also use a spray bottle. I mean I’m not saying that it’s okay to punish a cat physically but the is a way we can punish our cats without physically hurting them such as discipline. I mean other people might prefer to call it discipline and that’s fine but I call it punishment. Not because I’m interested in being cruel to cats but because I like to think of discipline and punishment as the same thing. That’s because my teachers used to call discipline punishment when I used to go to school.
Please I’d like to see a video on trimming your cat’s nails , the best clippers , the best way.

My cats always learned to fear the spray bottle and not me. They only know it can happen when I have the bottle in my hand lol.

My sister almost went through the idea of having her cat getting declawed many years ago. Thankfully, it never happened and it's very painful for cats and it's very illegal anyways.
When the guy on the video said $2000.00 sofa immediately looked at the age of the video and saw it was 2 years ago . So now just add another $1000 to his $2000 !! Bidenomics working well Huh .
I got guards on my couch and scratch pads . They do not scratch the furniture or beds . Before that they did destroy my old couch on the sides .

My roommate has a cat I like to let in my room. She’s the first cat I’ve ever had a living experience with so it’s been a journey😭
I noticed she really liked scratching at my window curtain while she watched outside. I don’t blame her, it’s probably so conforming to her to just have a nice stretch and scratching while looking out the window. Obviously I didn’t want take that vibe away from her so I bought a vertical rope scratching board and attracted it to the side of my window right next to the curtain that way she can scratch without having to move from her window. Unfortunately her claws got stuck on the rope and since the board was only attached to the top part, it was hard for her to get out without my help. I’ve since fixed that but she doesn’t seem to interested in it now. She doesn’t care for treats and sometimes she’ll give a little paw at the board which I praise her for. Other than that, she’s tried to get to my curtain yet again. I might try the citrus but I don’t want to detour her from the board or her favorite spot since it’s so close to the curtain
My kitten scratches my dining chairs made of cloth. I have given her a scratching board but she never uses it. I even applied catnip spray on it. She just licks on it and leaves. I tried placing it on the chair where she scratches, but she still scratches on the chair and not the pad i placed on it. What can i do to get her not to scratch the chair?
I did all of this and put caps on my cats nails and keep up with it
It works until i forget to keep up with it
