When I was looking for a cetoddle shiny and I found a gogoat shiny insted.
This doesn't work for Cetoddle, I only got shiny Sneasel
i found a shiny cetoddle during my first playthrough without any shiny boosting stuff, it was actually kinda hard to spot since it was in the shade, but since it was a group of like 6, one was looking way darker so i was like "hold up a sec"

I caught a shiny sneasel in the spot you recommended, then used my leftover time to look for a shiny sandile and found it with the last few seconds of my time! And THEN, as I was walking around the desert, I spotted a pink cactus in my periphery! So, I caught 3 dark type shinies in under an hour, so this video is obviously ALSO good luck on TOP of being a solid guide!

1×Yellow pepper
1xRed pepper
1x onion
2×Clawf sticks
2x Any Herba Misticas (I used one salty and one sour)

When you run forward like that you are missing all the Pokémon that spawn behind you potentially missing a shiny

I just want to say cetoddle was the very FIRST shiny I found. No shiny charm vanilla game halfway through I was standing near glaseado mountain pokestop panned to my left and he was sitting there in a group next to me. 😂
I've literally just done this with a pickle cucumber and 3 klawf stick with 2 salty herba mytsica and got 3 shiny cetoddle my first within less than 1min 30secs!
With 2 shiny ice sandwiches, I got 4 shiny Sneasels and even a Weavile, somehow get a Deerling, and even 3 Croagunk by accident, still no Cetoddle or Cetitan shinies… Why do Sneasel have to spawn with Cetoddle? Maybe they hunt them idk.
