I hit it dead center with a shock and golden bow and NOTHING. I had to switch to a royal bow and hit the outer ring with the shock arrow

It dosent work for me
I did this shrine without even knowing about the quest. I just saw it while on top of Kas's hideout next to the blood moon shrine and instantly thought "ooh what if I have to use shock arrows?" Low and behold, I finally figured out how to do a shrine quest without using YouTube… without first activating said quest.
This was such an awesome video and shrine quest.

Me who bought every metal item thinking you needed lightning to strike on you: "It appears you were 1 or 2 steps ahead of me."
Stupid thing about this is that it doesn't work if you're firing an arrow while gliding… you glide down and do the slow motion arrow in mid-air… it doesn't work, you HAVE to be standing on the ground… I'd figured out that I needed to hit it with a shock arrow really quickly, but every time I fired an arrow it did nothing since I was shooting arrows while gliding, because I thought it was too far off the ground for an arrow to hit it…
