I like how you and some of the other creators put spoiler free in the video title, especially given I had avoided any content for a few weeks. Managed to get 2 days off work within the 72 hour early access. Only 1 small bug so far, so pretty impressive on that front. Playing on easy mode, which is a little more difficult than I thought, especially the combat. The puzzles are excellent and challenging. And I love the way it brings in certain aspects in to the game. Flying took a little bit of getting use to compared to Horizon FW
(VAGUE INTRO SPOILER) I'm trying to ride the high of the honeymoon period while also being objective. I totally agree that the intro was phenomenal, it was blockbuster movie quality without a doubt. I was asking myself "did this guy just die?" when the thestrals appeared–ridiculously good. I found myself legitimately enjoying walking to most objectives, which I never do in any other open world game, simply because they made the world feel so alive. My only two complaints with the mechanics would be the lack of space for spells on PC and that they give you spells that clog your slots that don't need to exist. I was genuinely annoyed when, after getting three separate spells for the room of requirement, I got another two just for brushing and feeding animals. Like my spell diamonds weren't already cluttered enough, as many spells are actually useful for multiple scenarios. I hope a PC mod comes out that allows for an MMO-style hotbar setup because flicking through spell diamonds when you need to be focused on not dying gets a little tedious and confusing. I've misclicked a couple times casting Lumos in the middle of battle lol. I'm willing to accept that it's a skill issue, but not one I feel I should need to overcome in the first place. Nor should you need to sacrifice spells for an efficient setup. I like the idea of having all my spells at my fingertips. I have some nitpicks with the story that they could have done better, but I suppose I'll save that comment for when you release your spoiler review. Ultimately, the world and Hogwarts were the main draws and they pulled it off spectacularly.
Neat little review! Looking forward to hearing more when you complete the game. As a person who likes to roleplay in games, my main issue is the common room in the evening. The whole place becomes empty and there are no students asleep, it's eerie and feels unpolished. Speaking of sleeping, it's silly we can't actually use our bed, instead we have to use the floor. Other than that though, the rest of the game is pretty perfect

One of the best games of all time I’ve ever played ;it just gets better and better and better further you go, the way they connect it to lore is crazy ; for me it’s up there with Witcher 3, GTA 4, Far cry 3, Red dead 2, in and around there , masterful, they really sat down making it thinking about lore , dream for any potter fan , some amazing moments the music too, watching Harry Potter films after playing this gives me new appreciation for the films which I didn’t expect
Good to know 94 score that’s a good score what I’ve heard about further down the line with the game story it gets much better so you’re in for a treat coming to the end of the game 👍
