I mean I don't feel the urge to watch that movie. An HBO made Drizzt tv-show for example would be harder to resist, but a generic as fuck fantasy heist movie called "DnD"? Nah. I don't expect it to make more money than that King Arthur Guy Ritchie movie did. And that was a pretty good movie all things considered.

I hope the movie is good and makes money, because I want more good fantasy movies and shows to come out, but I do hope d&d beyond keeps losing subscribers to make a point , because that is actually something the see , if the movie sufferers people might end up assuming that people are not interested in that kinda movies

Your rant about dollar store Spiderman explains why YouTube recommends Spiderman 2 in the suggestions lol, that aside this boycott will most likely do nothing as you said they usually fail but I feel it will have some impact but not enough to really make a dent.
