OH MY GOSH! Thank you so very much for showing the behaviors from the beginning! My pups do the same thing and II thought that I somehow got the 2 most IQ challenged dogs in the world because so far I've only seen videos where the dogs have already been trained somewhat so they get it right away.. I almost gave up because I kept feeling like a failure.
Two are hard …twice the patience u need LOL that was hilarious video …..at nine years old …all my guys sit at attention when I say FRONT AND CENTER …teaching was easy on sit …..DOWN was a nightmare lol
And stay was great til I left the room….great video
More videos like this of training two dogs at the same time and releasing individually would be amazing
Screwballs…..lol lol.
This is fantastic! I have a 10 1/2 week old Llewellin Setter named Mack that we are starting to work with a little more intensely. Our challenge is that Mack is *deaf*. He is smart as all get out, already learning sit, and down– but it is a challenge in timing when there is no "click". Have you had any experience training deaf dogs, or can you give any pointers?
Very helpful thank you. I have a 3 month old GSD and a 10 month old DD. Completely different training regiments and purposes obviously, so I always train with one put away. But this is great for distraction and proofing.
My gsp is 5 months she is so funny
So in Thunder's session Kat used "nick" when Thunder came off his bed before released, in this session you used "continuous" with Clutch, any reason why or are they pretty interchangeable?
I have a 5 year old English springer spaniel and a 10 week old GSP. The puppy gets on his spot 100% of the time and stays for up to 5 mins, my springer rolls her eyes and walks off lol.
I have a lab/beagle that is always trying to get out or when it does get out it wont come to me when I tell him to… is there any advice you can give me to help with him trying to get out all the time or not listening when I tell him to come here bc like when I'm working on other tricks it wont take long for him to get it's just the whole listening to me
Yaws! I have a 11 month old lab and 5 month gsp. They are both color conditioned to recall and to place. This really helps as know look to need to have the place duration training. The lab likes to play too hard and or play keep away from the gsp. I have created a bad habit with them both out at the same time. Advice as to negative reinforcement other than getting them on their place and staying while they are out together?
This video was so helpful! Thank for the amazing content.
