What pisses me off is…why tha fk didn't WB use the Nemesis System for this game? Why tha fk did they patent the mechanic and never used it again? This would be an amazing game to implement it.
My main problem is the spell menu constantly switching during combat. Nothing like thinking you are casting an attack and having it do nothing because you’re attempting to cast a non combat spell because the spell menu flipped.

You may think some of the quests are redundant, but it actually gives a lot of the characters a point of being a relationship and that’s what I love about this game. Yes, you have 3, 4 or 5 characters that you really care about, but having the different personalities and back stories really helps that’s another thing I loved about the way they did FF7 remake and rebirth just like this game I love it.❤❤❤ one of my issues on the PC though I find certain things that I’m trying to grab where I only want them to come a certain distance and it seems like I’m putting too much power, pressing the button in comparison to the PlayStation that has been my biggest issue when you do that first class pulling one of those metal balls towards you and it’s like you’ve yanked it to the next century lol when all you wanna do is just pull it just a few feet. It goes 10 feet.
Controller? Use a mouse and keyboard and stop the madness.

Thank you! This helped in more ways than one. I won't spoil anything, but I was in an area where saving was disabled. I missed a chest that wasn't quick to get. I went back for it, continued on, then died. Because there was no auto save, I had to repeat the process. I died multiple times. If it wasn't a decent piece of gear in there, I would have ignored it.
Apparantly messing with the settings forces a save as well as improving my fighting.
I guess I'll try this before I delete the game. The combat feels like ass. It's okay until situations like this with multiple targets with different color shields. Damn near unplayable at this point without using more potions than you should have to. Shame because I enjoyed it otherwise.

I just started playing this after it was on my PS5 for nearly 6 months. I was going to give it a fair shot at GOTY but after getting into harder combat quests this is where it fell off. The controller optimization is maybe the worst I've ever played. The block mechanic is awful. I'm constantly missing blocks because I'm spamming R2 for spells. so instead of blocking and hitting enemies with stupify I'm hitting a repairo and dying. It's awful. FF16 demo was light years better. Thanks for this clip I'll try it out. I want to love this game but FFFFF did they ruin this on controller.
Harry uses plenty of spells throughout the books. He uses a few spells a lot (expeliarmus, stupefy, expecto patronum, accio, lumos, etc.), but those are just the common ones. Goblet of Fire saw him expanding his spell repertoire quite a bit, and he also taught an entire class a bunch of spells the following year – not just spells he commonly used, but other spells like protego, and reducto (which Ginny was quite adapt at). He even uses some very obscure spells as protection enchantments in the final book.
The combat is too easy imo. You can basically dodge every attack so the blocking is almost useless. Other than that, you literally just spam spells and switch between sets. I mean, it's cool and certainly unique but not as polished as other games out there.
i don't think Quidditch would work unless you are just playing the seeker role, which then would make sense. However want to see more areas added in the DLC

Damn, whoever called out the fact Harry barely used any spells in the movies you was right, it’s been like 5 years since I watched it and I’ve done a count from memory… roughly in order (I think), wingardium leviosa, expelliarmus, ridikulus, patronous, accio, stupefy, crucio, imperio…alohamora and reducto are maybe in there too… but I think that’s it?? I might of missed a couple but damn, MC of the story was nerfed!! Even during OTTP’s DA scenes, we see him training all these people but never once using the spells, “livicorpus” for example? (Basically levioso). Accio he only used in three instances from what I can remember: firebolt, portkey, medicine. Wingardium leviosa was only during the first film right? Ridikulus (probs butchered that spelling) was only used in the 3rd film. The patronous made an appearance in theeee 3rd and 5th films when Harry used it? Reducto I’m not sure about I just vaguely feel like he said it during one of the DA scenes.
What’s funny is they’re given these wands and then half of the things they cast are silent incantation-less spells, which is also funny because pretty sure hogwarts don’t reach silent spell casting or even speak about it, at least not in hogwarts legacy they didn’t😂

The problem I have is the aiming is your L3 on ps5 by your thumb, that’s also how to turn camera so as I go to turn to face other enemies the aim will go to another enemy:( it’s frustrating..
It’s honestly insane how addictive this game is.
